10 Best Chicken Restaurants in Norman

“When I am working in Norman I stop in @ Raising Cane's with my kids to grab a bite to eat. Doesn't matter if it's football season or summer the food is always cooked fast, fresh, & hot. This is top of the line chicken 🐔 fast food on par with the best in the country. The staff is always polite and helpful(hardworkers). Their chicken fingers, sauce,fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and sweet tea are all great. We have tried everything on the menu. Recommend it all! Restaurant, tables, floor, & bathroom all kept clean. The Atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty nice and chill. Mix of locals and out of towners. Just great food with no drama.**********10 stars! Plenty of parking since it sits in front of strip mall with other businesses.“

Your positive attitude was comforting and welcoming. I just wanted to thank you. As my experience with the the manger at the correct location Alameda wasn't pleasant at all. My business will now be at this location. I again appreciate you and I hope the owners see this and commend your hard work.“

“I came in for lunch and was immediately greeted with a wonderful smile, Adan was behind the counter and made me feel so welcome! He then found out I’ve never been here so he gave me multiple options, explaining them all in detail. He never made me feel like a burden or rushed. I’ve never experienced hospitality like I did today! Thank you, Adan!!!!“

“We ordered three pizzas last night. It’s our first time ever ordering from there. We usually get like the singles for lunch sometimes and it’s always delicious so we went ahead and treated ourselves and our kids to their pizzas…. little bit cheaper than Pizza Hut and Domino’s and it tastes 10 times better so that says a lot. We did an online order and unfortunately when we got there, their thing was down. I’m not exactly sure what part in the grill was down, but the gentleman informed us he had to call his boss…. well at that same time a lady walked in behind us and wanted her pizzas and he tried to explain to her Something was wrong. He happened to be on the phone with his boss at the exact same time so I took it upon myself to say hey he’s on the phone with his boss. There’s something wrong with his machine and he’s trying to figure out what he needs to do well the lady then yells at me that she wants a refund and I tell her hey give him a second. He’s trying to figure out what’s going on. She then proceeds to yell. I don’t care. I want a refund. I don’t have time to wait. This is ridiculous. Ends up getting the manager involved. He comes over there. He’s trying every way possible to fix the situation the lady is not dealing with it she’s just yelling at everybody just being extremely hateful. We ended up waiting 15 extra minutes and they were able to get our pizzas out to us. They offered us free drinks and even today when I went back in, they offered us another free pizza. Which I did not take because they really didn’t do anything wrong. It was nice that they were trying very hard to make sure their customers were happy but what that lady did last night was unacceptable. That was my first experience visually witnessing a Karen and I feel really bad for the employees because they did not deserve that no one does. They took care of us and I’ll be honest. This is literally the only gas station we go to in Norman because their coffee that they have is amazing and their food is delicious every single time so I am more than pleased with the grill and the store.“

“Good food for the price. $12 for a brooklyn style pizza that is comparable to Pizza Hut. We watched our cook quit on the spot and speed out of the parking lot after we asked him to cut our uncut pizza. The other staff members started complaining through the lobby about the extra work they had to do because he quit. I believe he just had a long day up until that point and was done with the day.“

“This Popeyes consistently serves great food and has an amazing team. One standout team member, Savanah (sp) provided exceptional customer service during my visit today. From start to finish, she was professional, well spoken, kind and genuinely respectful. After handing me my order at the drive-thru window, I asked if I could have a small cup of water that I hadn't included with my order. Without hestitation, she smiled and gave me a larger cup of water with a lid and straw. It's small acts of kindness and service like these that speak volumes about a person's character. To me, this matters more than the food itself, and restore my faith in humanity. Thank you Savanah, I truly don't think I would have made it home on such a hot day without that cup of water.“
