“Ordered meal for two and it was a lot of food. Didn’t realized the platter already came with salad so I ended up with two salads. The ceaser salad was pretty basic but too much Parmesan cheese mixed into the lettuce, which created a a weird texture. Meal came with two desserts, a cheesecake and strawberry shortcake. Was a little disappointed with the strawberry shortcake as it tasted like it came from frozen and cake was a little hard. The cheesecake was good, but, a little too sweet for my liking. Overall, the food, service, and experience was pretty decent and I will probably come back.“

“The quality of the food is great. It us so delicious. I ordered koobideh & joje for my party and all of my guests were asking about the restaurant. Even after 3 days, I warmed up some leftovers and still is delicious.

“Food was great however I had a strange situation with a waitress today. She was not Asian may be Iranian or Afghan but when it was time to pay she selected the tip option herself and quickly took my card to tap. When I got the receipt it showed tip was already added. Mind you it was just three of us. So it couldn’t be the standard tip charge for a table of 6 or more.
I can’t imagine this being standard practice because if it is I will not return.“

“It was.my first time in Caravan. I ordered thier side dish called potatoe Bolani. The Bolani in here was different in taste and texture than I used to buy from other afghani restuarnt.
The potatoes inside was creamy and delicious but in my openion they were very generous with the salt, it was a bit too salty for my taste. I would buy again if they take it easy with the salt next time.“

It’s not a fancy place, but the food is absolutely delicious, the portions are huge, and the owner clearly cares about turning first-time customers into repeat customers. Safe to say—it worked on me!“
