“For the best Burger in town, I would highly recommend Smokin' Pete's. I having had a burger this delicious in a very, very long time. I order the Bacon Cheeseburger with 2 patties. Was not disappointed at all. The Fries? OMG, they were delicious.“

“A friend and I visited this restaurant today and I was surprised by its friendly atmosphere and great service. Other locations are kind of gloomy. This location had friendly staff, incredible food, and actually had icy-cold mugs in a freezer for your drinks. They also brought our food to our table. The onion rings were in fry basons (or whatever they are called) and not in paper containers. Obviously , they were environmentally conscious, too. Great experience!“

“Stopped into the newly renovated Jack Astor’s and Freida’s Beverage Kitchen in Barrie recently. I work with n Barrie once a month and have often visited this location. I was surprised by all the exciting new changes. My wonderful server Jessica explains all about the new menu and was ready to make suggestions seeing as she knows I’m a creature of habit! Loved the shareable plates and was excited to see such a neat drink menu. Jessica helped me pick out some new dishes to try and did not steer me wrong (she knows I’m fussy)! Really enjoyed my experience in the newly renovated location. As always fantastic service by Jessica and Jacks! Well done guys!“

“Husband and I recently relocated from the Maritimes, stopped in for breakfast and we were not disappointed! Friemdly and promt greetings, quick seating, great atmosphere and decor, amazing and diligent staff. Barrie location is more than happy to accommodate those with needing smaller portions as an adult. Our server went above and beyond any service we have received back home. even heard her communicate with the chef directly, and when an ingredient wasnt available, instead of taking it off the menu for the day, someone ran out and actually picked up said ingredient .. top notch guest service! We cannot wait to go back and try their lunch menu!“

“Barrie has a lot of burger joints, but nothing beats the char broiled,10 oz. Super Burger at Barrie Burger. Their fries are alright, but it's the burgers that stand out, and that's what I go there for! It's a clean, retro atmosphere with friendly staff and good food!“

“Burger Royal does have really good food. I will give them that. But their service is terrible. I went in the other day and was told my burger would be 10-15 mins and it took them 28 mins to make just a cheese burger!!! Nothing else!! This isn’t the first time this has happened. This has probably happened 4 or 5 times over the last 7 times I have stopped in. Those are terrible averages. They only had 3 ppl working and they were clearly under staffed for being around dinner time. Not to mention there was no fifth gear they were all stuck in first gear. No hustle, just dragging their feet. It was sad to watch how slow they were for how busy they were. It was painful to watch. They clearly don’t care about customer service. I feel like when ever I decide to give them another shot its the same disappointment. Burger Royal is making it much easier to not go there even though they have good food, they really lack in the service part. Great food is nothing without proper and professional service!! I hope they can get their act together!“

“Can’t say enough about Swiss chalet/ Harvey’s as a whole my last experience started poorly and the staff made up for it with meal cards, and this most recent experience has been easy+ good food I will be eating at both restaurants more often. Elbows up“

“1st time visiting, and we had 2 banquet burgers and onion rings. Very friendly staff and good service. Price is comparable to other burger joints. We thought homemade burger meant fresh ground beef burgers not frozen patties. 🤔 The bread was fresh and the toppings good.“
