10 Best Mediterranean Restaurants near Barrie

“We were in Barrie for a staycation and ordered large beef plate for dinner. The beef was like a chopped burger patty. I don’t know if this is the norm. If yes, I’m willing to erase this review.

Edit:
Thanks for the clarification about the gyro style beef. Now we know. I edited my review back to 5 stars“

“Been to a lot of shawarma spots and Lazeez is easily top tier. Got the chicken shawarma and the meat was juicy, properly seasoned, not dried out like a lot of places. The garlic sauce is the real star, and the tahini is legit, not the watered-down sweet stuff some places pass off. Portions were generous and it actually kept me full. Staff was quick and friendly too. This is my go-to now.“

“We tried the Chicken Tikka Plate and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the portion was generous. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. Our server was very polite, friendly, and extremely helpful, which made the experience even better. Definitely a great spot in Barrie for a satisfying and flavorful meal. Highly recommend! ❤“

“Just got off the phone with a lady at Osmow's on Big Bay. I asked how they were doing and her directly....she started crying. I told her that her and all her co-workers are valued and appreciated. The people in the food industry who are still serving our needs also need our appreciation. ❤“

“Good food and good portions....undermined by the very rude and unfriendly man who serves it! No hi or goodbye and leaves you standing there for several minutes without saying a word until he completes other tasks. Actually told us to go somewhere else once because he was "busy"! What a pity.“

“Fantastic experience, had the wrap box which I split with someone. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the schwarma wrap tore while making and they offered to redo it from scratch without me having to ask

Would recommend this location any day!“

“I tried the Greek Feta Falafel and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors blended beautifully with the fresh veggies and sauce — every bite tasted authentic and satisfying. Portion size was generous, and everything tasted freshly made. Definitely a must-try for anyone who loves Mediterranean flavors or wants something flavorful and healthy. I’ll definitely be coming back for this again!“

“Had a great experience at Osmow’s! The food was delicious, fresh, and well prepared. Alka was working and provided excellent service. She was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. Definitely recommend this location!“
