“Chucks is a great place to go out to get some food and drinks. I’ve been going to watch the Leafs play with a group of my friends each Saturday for the last few months now. Lauren and Ryan make each visit very pleasant with their great service. Keeps us coming back each weekend.“

“The customer service by waiting staff was terrific. Small Portuguese place for those who are wondering. Food was great for our group of 50 for a baptism. A ton of parking available which was convenient. Small bar section as well if you're just looking to watch the game with a drink in hand.“

“Lemme start off by says, who ever lowered this rating from a perfect 5 to a 4.9 should get their rating privileges revoked!!!!!!Now I just so happen to be working down the street. The burgers are better than most high restaurants you'll go to.Today I had the Philly cheese and it's AMAZING!!!!!! GREAT OWNER, AMAZING STAFF, FOOD IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!!! And it is average priced!!!My only qualm about the eatery , but I understand why they do it, is they're only open Thursday- Sunday. . But that's every single restaurant on the shore line. So I get it. I just don't like it, cause I'd eat there every day if I could!!!!!Other than that, even if your an hour away, come have a family diner out side by the lake, it's worth it!!!!“

“'The Sticks' is the bar where everyone knows your name - Sam is an excellent host, very attentive and supremely welcoming. Every time we visit, we are remembered and made to feel like VIP's. The beer selection is great and always rotating, the food (by Masalafied) has never disappointed and the crowd is always kind. Sit long enough and you will witness, first-hand, just how many regulars keep coming back and how well they are treated by ownership. Can't recommend enough! Also, love that they are LGBTQ+ friendly!“

“My wife and I went for lunch at Kelsey’s in Newmarket/EG yesterday. Our server Amy had fresh coffee in our hands very quickly and continued with friendly and very efficient service throughout the meal. Just what we needed on a windy, rainy day.“

“Visiting some family in Bolton and met a friend here for breakfast. I wanted to try the burger but couldn’t justify it at 930am so I got the big breakfast; damn thing came on a pizza tray, it was huge! Eggs were poached perfect and all the meat you could want, but it’s the home fries I’m going to dream about.“

“Our server Angela was great, she was very friendly and out going. Despite being busy on a random Thursday night, she was clearly not phased by it. Kitchen was pretty fast with our order too with it being a pretty full restaurant. My mom got the steak frite (no idea how to spell it) and she was over the moon with it. Cooked to perfection and she ate every bite! My dad and I shared the fish tacos and the double stacked fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich and onion rings were amazing, the fries were a little over done and the fish tacos had a bit too much coleslaw to fish ratio but all in all pretty good.Great job Angela!“

You’ll be happy you did.Having grown up in Aurora and recently moved back, the rebrand and new ownership of this restaurant has enhanced the town further.Great atmosphere, amazing value for the food especially given recent increases on all costs since Covid, and awesome service.The owner, Robert, checked on us even though our server was absolutely exceptional (this visit as well as our last a few weeks ago).Great place for kids as well - it’s our 7 year old’s favourite place to dine out in Aurora (and ours too!)We will be back and are looking forward to it.“

“My husband and I love coming to 1 Church St on a regular basis. We came Saturday 23 of March for the restaurants 2nd anniversary. We brought along my sister and her husband. We had a great time! Food was tasty as always!The band that played was amazing! The dance floor was full all night!“

“Clubhouse sandwich and the salmon and the Ceasar Salad was excellent. Food tends to be spicy but lots of flavor. Very nice staff but found it was slow service.Parking: You have to enter the restaurant from the back where the parking lot is.“

“update: I just got a call from what I'm assuming is the manger and got my ordeal worked out. This has helped me relize they do care about their customers and want you to have the best time. I would 110% recommend this place as not only is the food amazing so is the management.I ordered off of Uber eats, they forgot 3/4 of my order and the part I did get was incorrect called to inform them of this and the gentleman on the phone got combative with me and told me if I wanted the rest of my order I would need to find a way to get it.“

“Our group of four dropped in on Sunday afternoon for a drink and a quick snack. The beer and Ceasars were great, but the wings were outstanding! We had the tequila lime flavour and the wings were big in size and cooked just right. They weren't overcooked to dryness like many places do. Thank you Offsides, well done! See you again!“

“I was pleasantly surprised. Just wanted a quick burger and poutine for lunch and didn’t really care where to order from on Uber eats, loved the name of the place and decided to give it a try. Prices are almost like fast food places but quality is much much better. Portion was bigger than I thought it would be considering the price. Will definitely order again and probably stop by for a drink and a snack.“
