“I keep coming back for the lima bowl and Nutella-filled churros. I get the raspberry sauce on the churros and they are warm and fresh each time I’m obsessed. seriously this place has the best food i’ve had outside in a while. the food quality is on point every time and the sauce is delicious. I got the lima bowl with pulled chicken i think? super tender and very filling. 1/3 of this bowl fills me up so i always have leftovers!! definitely worth the price😌 Staff are super friendly and attentive, the place is clean and lots of places to sit but I always get takeout anyway. Today I actually ordered one of their smoothies and it was delicious and actually a reasonable price for its size compared to most smoothie places.“

“We had the buttermilk chicken and it was fantastic, the mashed potatoes were super creamy, the veggies were delightfully crunchy, the buttermilk chicken was super delicious and the corn bread was a so tasty! Our waitress Julia was very attentive and took care of us. I would rate this meal a 10 out of 10. We were checked on more than once to ensure our meal was perfect.“

“Went to kelseys early this year ( January/February) for the wing night on Thursdays after watching an advertisement. Since then, i have attended every Thursday since as the staff at the waterloo kelseys is unbelievable and has the best service. Specifically , Anika and Tim are the servers I ensure serve me and my family and friends. They are not only great at service, they also remember your order every week so when you attend, they are on it once you sit down. I will be attending Kelseys weekly as long as Anika and Tim are serving me. Because of them, i will also be referring my baseball team and work colleagues to attend kelseys and to specifically ask for them!“

“I had one of the best evenings of my life here, definitely the best I’ve ever had in North America. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding: the waitress took great care of me, always asking how I liked the beer and helping me choose the next one. She really paid attention to my wishes.

As the evening went on, I started chatting with the locals, and as a German visiting Canada, I felt incredibly welcome. The conversations were fun, warm, and genuine. Toward the end of the night, even the owner came out to join us, and we had a fantastic talk about life, the differences between Germany and Canada, and so much more.

It wasn’t just about drinks, it was about the atmosphere, the people, and the feeling of being part of something special. This place made me feel at home on the other side of the world.

“This is a great option for a good quality, sit-down meal on campus. The staff had some struggles understanding the drink orders and requests resulting in an incorrect drink order and quite a lot of time consulting with their co-workers to fix. They could use extra training on the menu as well. Even though it was a set menu they didn't have answers ready about the meal. Eg. What vegetables are with this? I think a little more training for the staff would have made this a 5-star experience as it was a delicious meal with great value on campus.“
