“Amazing food, exceptionally caring and attentive staff. The people here go out of there way to make sure customers are happy, comfortable and taken care of. Tonight I ordered through uber eats and accidently canceled the order, UE. Charged a 95% cancelation fee to my CC without telling me.. when I noticed the charge on my card, I spoke to Uber eats who refused to refund the "cancelation fee", and would not place a reorder without me paying again (double charge) for the original order. I ended up driving to the restaurant and told them of the situation and they made sure I was taken care of. They fufulied my order without knowing if UE would give them the money they are owed. I absolutely recommend this place and have ordered from them many times, every single time the food is incredible. If you're looking for a nice night out, or take out food, you can't go wrong with August 8 Burlington!“

“I think I’ve been coming here for about 2 or 3 years now and it never disappoints. Quality of the food and serving sizes are very fair and the service is great. The restaurant is usually very clean and the atmosphere is nice as well. Im sure you’ll find some better options in the east end BUT if you’re local to the area and aren’t keen on driving into Markham/Toronto then this place is sure to please and satisfy those dim sum cravings!“
