“We had the sauerkraut fish, chicken wings, fried rice, potato salad, and cucumber salad. The fish, chicken wings, and fried rice were all really good, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that both salads were a little too oily for our liking. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our meal.“

“A unforgettable dining experience last 07/04/25 (Friday)! Shoutout to Chef/Owner Danny Cancino and his team for an impeccable service! 👏 Every dish and the complimentary additions were phenomenal! The modern twist in Filipino cuisine was definitely well done!💖🌟 Here are some of my standout favorites 🤯: • Pineapple + Kombu (Seaweed): Refreshing and light, with crispy seaweed balancing the sweet, citrusy pineapple 💛 • Duck Ensaymada w/ Duck Prosciutto and Truffle Butter: One of the fluffiest breads I’ve ever had, inspired by classic ensaymada. Spreading truffle butter on it was chef’s kiss—it melts in your mouth! 😭👌 • Scallop Inari Lumpia: Beautifully presented with fried sushi rice, ginger-chili dressed Argentinian shrimp, and seared scallop on top. The rice was fluffy and so tasty I could eat it endlessly! • Iberico Pork Collar: Juicy, saucy, and umami-packed tender pork with chicharon, lettuce leaves, and sesame aioli. The pickled papaya (atchara) was a nice touch—I don’t usually eat atchara, but I loved it with this! • Beef Short Rib Kare-Kare: The star of the show! 🌟👏 Rich, classic kare-kare flavors with blanched bok choy and eggplant. The thick, peanuty sauce was delightful—if only there was rice! 🤣😋 Hope as many people as possible get to try this ultimate gourmet experience, whether you’re visiting Toronto or a Canada local! 🌟 Thank you Mineral!☺️Until we visit again!“

“This place I didn’t realize (my bad) has no tables or chairs. It’s like Vietnam plastic stools and low table. Kind to cozy but not a place to bring guest!! Menu options are a bit limited as well. But I’ll come by later by myself to give it another chance because the atmosphere is intriguing!!“

“This is definitely a hidden gem in North York.
Our lunch included their signature chicken dish, crispy pork hog, tomahawk steaks, fried preserved pork and sausages with cauliflower, shredded duck fried rice, pan fried shrimp and chives cake.
They were all well prepared with authentic taste. No wonder their chicken has won numerous awards! It has to be one of the best in Toronto!
The medium rare steaks were grilled to perfection, tender and juicy with steak aroma.
The crispy pork hog was another must order. The skin was marinated and deep fried but not greasy while the meat was very tender and scrumptious!
The cauliflower and the fried rice were succulent and appetizing.
Highly recommended and must return to try their Dimsum menu as well.“

“The cocktails are good, I tried Better than your ex and Be a man, the second one is a lot boozier.
What caught me by surprise was how good the food is, very tasty and decent portion. 3 dishes get definitely get 2 people full. Nice spot to do both dinner and drinks.
Service was attentive even when the place was packed. Prices are reasonable, overall a very good experience“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sparkly Restaurant, a Japanese-Thai all-you-can-eat spot, thanks to a thoughtful gift certificate from one of my coworkers, a nurse at the hospital. It was my first time trying this place, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that were fresh and full of flavor. The sushi was beautifully presented, the Thai curries were perfectly spiced, and the appetizers were a great start to the meal. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my visit and would highly recommend Sparkly Restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. “I was in Mississauga for training and we drove out of our way to visit this resturant based solely on its reviews. I had read they had authentic Thai food and the chef was renown for it. I was not disappointed. We started our meal with fresh vegetables spring rolls, mango salad, and wonton soup. It was incredible and was prepared quickly. Our meal was Chicken Pad Tai and Seaford fried rice. Large portions and the food was so well seasoned and elegantly plated. The service was great. We had a wonderful visit that prompted this review. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend a visit.“

“Had their knife noodles, king size dumplings and spicy mixed noodles. Enjoyed all 3, very flavorful, the spicy noodles has a little bite to it. Been going here for years and the food quality seems to have stayed the same which is good. The kimchi they provide is also very good, different from most other restaurants. Tastes garlicky but in a good way.“

“Really the most wonderful, unexpected, and personable experience. The staff go above and beyond in every way you can think of. Absolutely the kindest!!! Jay was my server and he was 150% all around. I'll be bringing my daughter and her boyfriend back here for a nice Friday night outing. The fried chicken is a Fried Chicken Lovers dream come true. So many other things on the menu.“

“My partner and I come here quite often and it's the best! The staff are extremely kind and attentive. The dishes have more flavour than 90% of the places we have had pho at too.
Many different options to choose from on their menu, and the r&b music is always great to listen to while eating!

“We came on a weekday night and it was pretty busy. We only waited a few minutes to get a table. After ordering, we got our soup and salad pretty quickly but waited longer for our main dishes, and even longer for our dessert. The food was ok. My husband found the seaweed in his hand roll and maki roll too soft, and I found the salmon to be a bit dense. The other sushi were average. Then the dessert, my husband liked his fried bananas, but I found the sticky rice with mango to be too sweet and the mango pieces were not ripe. The service was slow but we can understand why--it's been a busy night. The staff were nice but very busy catering to bigger tables. Despite all this, we did enjoy our time.“

“Just had an all you can eat lunch at this place for the first time.
This was hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had.🍣🥢
The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and every bite was perfect!!!.
What really stood out to me was how incredibly clean the entire place was. Even the bathrooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, which tells you a lot about how much they care.
The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome.
Everything about this place was great.
I highly recommend it to everyone.

“I ordered the $30.00 combination which was hot and sour soup, 2 spring rolls, Pad Thai, rice and cashew chicken. The food was delicious and they were huge portions. I was expecting everything on one platter but each dish was served on a separate platter. For me the food was enough to feed 3-4 people. I had lots of food to bring home. The service was excellent. I would go back again.“

“Two different Korean friends recommended the Jajangmyeon here, so I finally came to try it — and they were absolutely right😂
The sauce was rich, savory, and full of flavor without being too heavy. There was plenty of sauce, and the noodles went perfectly with it. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about the taste. It was just really good 🖤
The portion was satisfying, the price was reasonable, and I also liked that it came with the classic side of pickled radish and raw onion.
I came specifically for the Jajangmyeon, and I left completely satisfied. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m craving it again! 😊✨“

“don’t sleep on this place, the curry beef brisket roti is soooo good, I’ve had it since I was a kid and the quality of that dish has not changed
we tried the laksa soup and it was also yummy - and turns out they can change any of the pho options to laksa base
the price has definitely increased in the past ten years, but so has the price of all restaurants and I think the food is fairly priced“

“Of the 2 Chinese Food places in the mall, this is clearly the better one.Portions are large, meats are good cuts, everything is seasoned well and quality is so much better than the other one in the mall. I go here often and always get the student special (only $3.99! ) Or large combo for $6.99. you get a lot for your money here!“
