“A hidden gem we never knew existed! If you're craving Carribean food, this place says it all! First time ordering here after searching for a nearby place that sells oxtail and curry goat. The portion is very generous and the oxtail falls off the bone and is marinated very well. The coleslaw adds some freshness and is a nice side dish to have to cut down the rich flavour. The server was really nice and served us with a smiling face. He is very confident that their dishes are really good and that we'll love it. A Goldstar indeed! A must visit whenever in this area.“

I recently visited Gerry's Fine Foods, and I have to say, their Jamaican patties are absolutely incredible. The crust is a true standout – light, flaky, and wonderfully buttery, providing the perfect contrast to the flavorful filling. And speaking of the filling, it hits all the right notes with just the right amount of spice, delivering that authentic kick without being overpowering.
My only minor critique, when comparing them to some other local spots, is that the filling does feel a bit less in quantity. However, this is easily overlooked when you consider the overall quality.
What truly surprised me was that I had just returned from a trip to Jamaica, and honestly, Gerry's patties were so much better! Go figure! They truly nail the flavor profile and texture.

“If your reading this, the location to the restaurant is IN THE PLAZA ON THE SECOND FLOOR, up the escalator and straight forward on the left hand side. The location mapped by google maps is wrong!
Absolutely loved the food, the rich flavors and warm welcome to this hidden gem. Was craving and found this place by accident and was thankful I came to the right place! Highly recommend this place.

“Wooy!! I came back twice with the 30 minute drive because the food was that good!! Mya exceptional customer service. You greeted me, gave me multiple options and left me with a really great first impression. See the curry chicken dehhh. Each photo different experience: I like my food consistent.
The rice & peas is soo good! Come like Jamaica bring the peas for them.
I will most certainly return not just for the food but for Mya she knows her stuff! Side note; she even told me about a wicked hair stylist before the shop!! Big up yourselves! I paid $14“

“Sometimes the food is okay but it's a hit or miss. Recently bought a curried goat & Rice dinner Recently, it had too much gravey and the meat seemed as if they scraped the bottom of the pot. Sometimes the food is very salty and customer experience needs to be improved. Being courteous and pleasant goes a long way.“

“The food here is exceptional on all standards. 11/10 for flavour and presentation. The service was friendly just don’t be in a rush. The wait is worth it. My mom has the coconut curry shrimp with Provision and I had the oxtail with rice and peas with macaroni salad. I wish I came here sooner. Highly recommended! I will certainly be back. Oh btw, it was so tasty we ordered food to go.“

Went today to grab a few patties.
TASTEE delivery truck came when we had just parked. Mind you we were in a proper spot, the driver parked so close to us, it was hard to get out.
You guys should clearly mark the parking spots to thd left and right of where the truck parks.

“It takes alot for me to write a review. I really love Flavours Sport Bar and Grill! Good food that not only taste great but severed with love and a touch of class. I been coming here for over 2 years with my friends, Co workers and family. We enjoy the consistency of the food and good staff that make you feel right at home. Tried their catering also and it was a real hit. You cannot go wrong when you eat at Flavous Sports Bar and Grill.

“Took a wrong turn while coming home and found this hidden gem. Starting from owner Chris he greeted us like family and took his time to prepare our food. We got jerk chicken with rice and peas and oxtail with plain rice. Next he offered us fresh special cane juice if we were interested and thank God we said yes because OMG the juice which he made fresh for us we had never tried anything like that before. This juice was a mixture of Sugarcane, cocunet water fresh ginger and lime, it was so refreshing on the ice. Food smelled and tasted great and you can feels Chris passion and love for his cooking in the food. We will definitely be back to try more stuff and I would recommend it 100% if anyone is looking for a amazing, authentication Jamaican food“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“Food here was AMAZING! Due to covid this was an Uber Eats order but you would never know it was delivery. The food was hot and fresh! The jerk chicken was moist and full of flavor. You could taste the spices from the skin down to the meat. Bone included! The plantains were soft, sweet, juicy and when you bit into it, the flavor just exploded in your mouth! If you’re in the Vaughn area of Toronto I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping by if you’re craving Caribbean food!“

“The food was great, I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, and slaw on the side. I’m still trying to figure out what the dressing on the slaw was because it tasted so fresh and fruity instead of that gross mayo type sauce that a lot of people use. I don’t live anywhere near Toronto so I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to visit again, but highly recommend!“

“I buy tinnels Jamaican patties from the Real Canadian Superstore in Scarborough frozen. The price for a box of 10 for $10.49. I love the mild and spicy beef.

“My food was superb! It is so hard to find a place where they know how to prepare plantain but it was ripe and cooked to perfection. The curried chicken was also incredible. “It's good food. I had the cranberry WATA for the first time today. I've never been so refreshed. I purchased the jerk chicken and the stew chicken with rice and peas. Verry good. Authentic no fuss came with a sweet coleslaw complemented everything fantasticly. I also had to get some bun and cheese because I couldn't find it anywhere else for a decent price.
