“The food was phenomenal and the staff were very accomodating. Took my partner here for dinner, we shared the most delicious pork belly and equally delicious roasted brusselsprouts. The oysters were fresh and came with a great choice lf toppings. The trout was so good, the dill cream sauce paired very nicely with the fish. Will be coming back again and highly recommend!“

“Went to Death & Taxes for Happy Hour. The service was impeccable. It was a gloomy day but the bartender opened the patio for us and even set up the fireplace to enjoy. We ordered the pizzas and enjoyed super inexpensive drinks. What a deal! It’s also family run which made us very happy.“

“Don’t sleep on this spot!!! Best fish and chips I’ve had in the GTA area, and definitely in Markham (sorry McCowan’s Fish & Chips haha)… it’s a humble little spot with great quality food and huge portion sizes. One meal could easily feed 2 adults. Would avoid the brisket though, it’s a bit dry. Looking forward to try their breakfast omelette and poutine. They do take an incredibly long time to cook and serve but its worth the wait. Their potato game is on point!“

“Overall even though the place was short staffed we were served very well Kristijana. She was very sweet and patient. We could tell she was very over worked. 5 out of 5 for her service. To the owner- I would recommend hiring more staff so u don’t burn out the few stellar staff that u have here.“

“Always order from this Swiss Chalet and food and service is always consistent. I do have to say that the food tastes good in general, but the taste is 5x better when you dine-in, especially since you eat it right when it’s hot.
We got the chicken and third rack ribs, quarter chicken dinner with coleslaw, side of seasoned fries, 10 bbq wings, chicken broccoli & cheddar soup, and a shirley temple. Everything was cooked perfectly and super juicy and delicious!! We used to always get the chicken, but their other dishes are equally as good! Their chicken tenders and chicken pot pie are also amazing. Prices for drinks and desserts are super affordable as well. They have bottomless drinks which makes it even more worth getting!
Plenty of seating that’s perfect for families big and small. Service is always great at this location as well. Highly recommend!

“I had a wonderful experience at Swiss Chalet! The rotisserie chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the Chalet Sauce is always a classic favorite. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. It’s a great place for a casual meal or to grab takeout. Definitely recommend if you're craving comfort food done right!“

“My husband and I went to Dida's for our anniversary. Both our meals were spectacular and we can't wait to go again. Linda and her staff are welcoming and the restaurant has a quaint, warm vibe. Highly recommend going there.“
