We always stop in before any event at Scotiabank Arena because it's close to Union Station and walking distance to so much more. Make a reservation online to secure a table, but there is waiting room and the line moves quickly. “Super delicious! I order takeout every day, and I never have any bad food. The chilled sauce series is great, and the Northeastern Rampi sauce is amazing. Please make it into shredded chicken cold noodles, it will be delicious! ! The Malatang had too little meat (almost none), but the taste was good. I’m so happy to be able to eat Northeastern sauerkraut!“

“Friendly vibe bar that’s good for families!
The food was overall good, definitely recommend the Cajun dry rub wings, it was really nice, fresh and crispy. I don’t really recommend the nachos though, we ordered chicken nachos and the portion was really small with very few pieces of chicken, for the price I don’t think it’s worth it. Also don’t recommend fish and chips even though it tasted good. The fish portion was way too small (you could finished it in 2 bites).
They also don’t have any mocktails options which I would expect a bar to have for those who don’t drink or can’t drink.
The service was good but a bit slow, only 2 servers (1 on the floor and 1 at the bar) at the time, but this could be because we came on a weekday, not sure about the weekend.“

“This place is a little gem. The atmosphere is fun but relaxed (if that makes sense). The service is friendly, but not in your face. The food has your typical no-nonsense bar staples. Some items are better than others, but generally, it's good. If you want to stay and play board games, chat, and/or watch a game, this is your place.

Vegetarian options: Their Greek salad was bomb. Big too, enough to share.

Food was unbelievable and decently priced. $156 for 5 people to share and we ordered about 10-12 meals I think. You do not want to sleep on this place. “The best burgers and hand cut fries in Scarborough. You get large servings of high quality food. Daily specials! Today I had daily special Penne Con Pollo. DELICIOUS*****chicken breast strips broccoli cauliflower mushrooms and peppers in a hoisin sauce topped with cheese and comes with garlic toast. They even put red pepper when I told them I can't eat green peppers. The garlic cheese bread is also delicious enough for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are.“

“Popped in for a beer before going out for dinner, the bartender was very nice, and our beers and several jugs of water were brought out to us on their back patio quickly. With a name like The Local it really does match the atmosphere of a local watering hole, it doesn't try to be anything more than it is. Had a small stage that looked like it would.be good for an open mic or small performance, and a table with a bunch of board games. If I was from Toronto I'd probably be a regular.

“Just dined here for my stepfathers birthday and we couldn’t have been more pleased with everything! The food was impeccable but the absolute highlight was the 5* service provided by Dafne. She was warm, welcoming and accomodating. She made us feel like the only table and acknowledged my stepfathers birthday from just our conversation and brought dessert with sparklers and a candle. Thank you for the most memorable meal any of us have had in many, many years. Thank you for everything Dafne, you are a star in our eyes.“

“Went for dinner last night and had a few pints. Beer selection is amazing BTW. Ordered the flat iron steak medium rare. Plate came and the presentation was great, but the steak was raw. I can eat rare, but this was blue rare. Very politely let my server know and she apologized and placed an order for a new one. The manager then came to the table and apologized and said he’d remove my meal from the bill. I told him that was very generous and appreciated. Second plate came and it was cooked perfect. Errors happen, but the customer service more than made up for it, and I recommend The Craft for this reason.“

“I can't really rate the food, I was there for the beer and for socialising, but it looked ok from what I saw. It ticked both boxes I was there for. It's my favourite pub in Toronto from the few times I've been now. Has an old charm, a set of regulars, more than one bar and outside area, a good selection of beer, and a lively customer base upstairs. Friendly staff too.“

Excellent and fast service as well, atmosphere is ok, can't help getting the ocassional sketchy crowds from the bars next door but nothing too bad.
