“We ordered take out and when we opened the order at home, we were missing the side of gravy that we had ordered. I know, not a huge deal but we wanted it for the meal so I called the restaurant to tell them. The server was very respectful and empathetic because we had to make a trip back to get it, which means our food would get cold. I stated that I hoped they would do something for us, for the return trip. She put me right over to the manager who agreed he would…and did he ever!! He threw in 4 desserts for the hassle. One would have been sufficient but he clearly wanted to make it right. He really did, and I had to give him his due. The food was excellent, as always, but he really did go above and beyond to make this right. Well done!!!!“

“I wrote a bad review to a different place, and my point was. It doesn't matter the place it's people and service what makes the difference.It is the case here. The place is just right to bring friends and family if a beautiful atmosphere of friendship, and family kind of place. I tried some wonton nachos, and I can swear by the meatballs. If they would sell them by the dozen I would have few at home.Came with a friend on his recommendation of live music, there is no other place in town I would go for live performances , ambient and food, and beyond all the managers/owners and consideration to keep a name above coins.Let's support this little Jewel in town to keep us all happy is these fast paced days.Something very beautiful observed, there was a gentleman caring for walking ladies to their vehicles in the parking lot. “Incredibly fantastic service. All the staff were always smiling. The food was delicious and well priced. Very nice atmosphere. We had mussels, Caesar salad, chicken wings and some drinks. Very good experience on a Sunday afternoon. We will definitely visit again“

This restaurant has awesome food but it is not a large space.It was really too bad that on this day, a large group of workers also decided to come in for lunch. We literally couldn’t hear ourselves talking over them.We ordered ahead of time which is the secret to being able to dine out during a work lunch hour!!We ordered 1) the Chicken Curry, 2) the Italian Chicken Baguette, 3) the Chipotle Chicken Club, and 4) a side of yummy onion rings. “I love the atmosphere of this pub! The decor and features are lovely. The servers are always super friendly and the food is good. I love the soups and they have great duck wings.It's not the owner Janet.... but there's an older lady that works here that whenever I have been here just looks so miserable. If you're at the front or serving people, you should make them feel welcome but she gives off a real cold vibe. I'm sure shes a great person and clearly runs a great establishment but please mix in a smile to the people every now and then!!“

“Great staff at the Crook. And the ambience is has always been a great pub feel. In the past the selection of beers catered more to my tastes, sad to see a few faves not on tap anymore. Our group was overall satisfied with our food, although it took a little bit longer for some of the group to get their food.Live music on Friday nights is a great way to spend time in Georgetown.“
