The gentleman serving the ice-cream today let my puppy into the store because it was hot outside, and then he offered us a pup cone, which was totally unexpected but certainly appreciated. Also, their prices are much lower than other places, and they don't charge extra for waffle cones. If you are a dog parent and you like Kawartha ice-cream, don't hesitate to come here.“

“The fergus location is the best! We have been to both Fergus and Guelph. Our girls love the Fergus location. The man that is always there when we bring our girls to get their Sweet Tea fix is absolutely amazing, so friendly and super kind to our girls. They have been going frequently and just love how nice and friendly he is. Our youngest has been insisting on using her own money to buy stuff there and LOVES giving him tips! Every day she asks if we can go there. Thank you Fergus location (only man we have seen every time we go,Wish I knew your name) for being so kind and patient with our Littles when they come to purchase their own Sweet tea❤ Thank you very much! “This is a nice place for an after-dinner meal, or perhaps a date. I ordered the Hit D Spot, which is a plate of Belgian waffles topped with ice cream and brownies. It was very good, but pretty filling so I had to share it with my brother. It took some time to make, though that was understandable given the size of the order, which was pretty big. I would suggest bringing someone to share your food with if you want to order one of the bigger desserts.“

“I ordered the Christmas High Tea. The chicken salad sandwich was chicken curry and delicious. I asked to change the cranberry and orange scone for their regular scone which was no problem and the scone was warm, soft and fabulous, especially with the cream they provide. The cranberry brie bite was a delicious little tart. My favourite sandwich was the pesto cream cheese and cucumber - delicious. They came by quickly to provide a refill of boiled water for my tea and were very attentive to ensure we had what we needed. My daughter got the cream tea [scone with cream and jam and a pot of tea], she opted for the cranberry and orange scone and loved it. My husband isn't a tea fan, he got the tuna sandwich and soup. The sandwich was huge, filled with good quality tuna. I would highly recommend the Boathouse Tea Room - their prices are very reasonable and the food was great.“

“Our go to ice cream shop. They have ice cream cakes, logs, and frozen desert pies as well. Various Chilli dogs, orange jullious drinks. Prices are fair considering today's going rates. Wait times can be a bit much but I understand they have to prepare the ice cream. Still never had any major issues.“
