“The best fish & chips in town! Always fresh, hot and delicious! The portion sizes are great and the prices are very reasonable. The fish is perfectly battered and never greasy. They have great daily specials and family meal deals. The restaurant is always clean. If doing take away, it’s so easy to call ahead and they’ll have your order ready for your arrival. The owner is so kind and friendly. It’s such a lovely small business and it’s definitely one worth supporting!“

“The Town Friar might be one of the top 10 fish-and-chip shacks in Canada. The batter is simultaneously crisp and pillowy, the fish is fresh, and the fries are thick. Is it somewhere you want to sit and enjoy a casual Saturday dinner with friends over a glass of wine, no. Is it an amazing take out place with exceptionally good service? Yes.“
