“I got the szchenuan rice, orange chicken and spring rolls. The food was great. Some of the chicken piece in the orange chicken were just batter but the sauce was great! Paired well the the szchenuan rice.

If you don't mind some flavor, there's not much you can go wrong with at this shop. One other person has mentioned the food is greasy. That's not accurate. A lot of it's oily, not greasy. It's Sichuan food, and that's normal for Sichuan food; it allows the flavor to spread throughout the food.

The beef cuts they use are catered more for an Asian taste. They're chewy and fatty so as to impart the most amount of flavor.

I've been going to this place regularly since it opened because it's right next door to our office. I've never once had a visit where I had to wait a long time for food. The other fellow that had to wait a long time for food must have just hit them on a really bad day or something. The longest I've had to wait is 15 to 20 minutes, and that was on a super busy day before covid hit for the pineapple fried rice.

They also have another location on Dundas just east of Hurontario. Hamilton is their second location.

This shop is in my top three Chinese restaurants in Hamilton, and quite possibly my number one. My favorite dish here is the dumplings and chili oil. BEST DUMPLINGS EVER!

“The food was excellent. The chicken fried rice was light and fluffy and full of meat and egg. Steamed pork Dumplings, bbq pork buns, sticky rice, fried dumplings and sesame balls were some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Generous portions as well so we had several containers with leftovers to take home.“

“We had the Saozi Beef noodles, the Beijing dumplings and Braised Chicken on Rice. The food was really flavourful and delicious with a homemade quality. The beef noodles dish is on the spicier side so if you have a low spice tolerance order with caution. The atmosphere accompanied the homemade quality of food with a home like environment. Our server was very kind, water is self serve which worked really well for us. The tip is included in your meal cost but very well deserved.“

I got the Sesame Chicken with the Chow Mein combined together. It was just plain Chow Mein, and Sesame Chicken was nicely batter with a sweet taste to the sauce that covered it. The food was tasty, but only thing preventing it giving it a 5 star rating, although the food looks heated and hot in their containers (stainless steel), the food was at best a tad warm? If this food was served hot, I would rate it higher. Nice friendly service on board, cheerfully serving the customers on their requests. “I've been here many times at lunchtime on a workday and their food and service has always been great for me. I typically get the two-item plate with the noodles, broccoli, and General Tao Chicken and while the quality of each bite can vary a little bit, it is all within an acceptable range and at least as good, if not much better than most food court Chinese food. There seems to be a lot of disgruntled people in these reviews from a long time ago, so I don't know if things have changed for the better recently. Also, I don't know if the quality will go downhill later in the afternoon / evening as the food is kept warm for hours. “Ordered a shrimp fried rice, it was piping hot and ready in the time they stated when I called. This is a very simple dish, rice and shrimp. I didn't notice any vegetables or egg in the rice, egg would have been a nice touch, but nevertheless, the rice was flavourful not overly salty at all, the shrimp is cut up but there is a good amount of shrimp, not only what you see in the photo but there are also pieces under the rice, almost every bite of rice could have a bit of shrimp. The shrimp wasn't very seasoned but were plump, cooked perfectly and everything came together well. For $12 I am thourally satisfied. This is a simple take out place, but I would say very authentic, but I'm no expert!“
