“I can say that i have been deeply disappointed in many many McDonald's locations in Southern Ontario.
Today i stop at a tiny whokevin the wall McDonald's inside a Walmart.
Service phenomenal

The first time I came here, Sana, one of the staff members, helped me choose the perfect toppings. Her excellent communication skills and friendly service made the experience memorable, and ever since, l've been coming back for more.“

“So disappointed this last time I went to Hutch's. I ordered a large fish and chips and both pieces were barely the size of what one piece used to be. I always got a large because I would only ever eat one piece and bring the other home for lunch the next day but not anymore. Both pieced fit on the plate and were covered with fries you couldn't even see the fish and trust me there wasn't as many fries either. Definitely not worth 18 bucks anymore. not saying I won't go back but it won't be as often as I used to. I am going to start looking for another place to get my fish and chips.“

“I just ordered 2 x spicy chicken sandwiches. When I got home, the sandwiches both had 2 chicken fingers in it. A real chicken sandwich has a chicken breast, not fingers. This is false advertising at its finest because there is way more breading on 2 fingers compared to 1 breast. DO BETTER. Besides this little faux pas, the food here is great and the staff is friendly and quick. Just please name your food for what it actually is. I will order again for sure !“

“The staff here is incredible, I accidentally gave them a curve ball ordering somthing they took off the menu. They got a bit flustered but handled the entire interaction with grace and a smile and had it made quickly and perfectly. Quality and service is fantastic.“

“As a senior, I’ve struggled with my hearing when out etc. I went to Harvey’s on Upper Ottawa after my local dump run. The gentleman named Chris was so helpful and patient with me. He took the time to help me get the lunch I needed. The restaurant is clean, friendly and most of all the food was delicious! What Chris didn’t know was I’m recently widowed and it’s hard for me to eat solo etc. Having a great conversation with him just made that task more doable! Thank you!

“The breakfast sandwich at A&W is amazing. Fresh, tasty, and one of the best fast food breakfasts out there. The only downside was the service at the drive-thru window. It felt a bit rushed and not as friendly as it could be. Still, the food makes it worth the stop.“

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

“Being a vegetarian I don’t usually go to these burger chains but i had to try their new masala burger.
I was so amazed, it was very fresh tasty and loaded. Couldn’t ask for more.

I tried their plant based before but I didn’t like it.
Only downside was cleanliness. I didn’t have much conversation with staff so can’t say anything.
Overall good experience. Will go there again.

“I am currently disabled, using a cane. The hostess behind the counter was very helpful, bringing my tray to the table. The Double Buddy I ordered was hot, juicy and tasty. The onion rings were too crispy so she graciously made me another batch which were excellent. Both servers were very polite and extremely helpful. I have been dining at A&W locations since the 60's in the days of the carhops (I miss that aspect). I highly recommend this location.“

“The highest rating I give any fast food is 4 star and it definitely goes to this Harvey's location. I went to this place in the 80s and it still tastes the same and the fries are still good. They've had a couple of face lifts but still put out a consistent product 👍

“I was hoping to pick up a sandwich for the car as I was in a hurry to get to my next meeting.
I ended up ordering the fish and chips. I know hard to eat in the car but I went with it.

Everything from the crispy fries and equally crispy fish it was delicious.

It took a bit longer to get than expected but they didn’t disappoint.

I’m not sure what the ambience of the restaurant is because I was there late morning.

Definitely worth a try.“

“The owner of lotos is incredibly amazing, I rented the hall for my daughter’s 1st birthday, he was super helpful, and accommodating. We ran into an issue of the bouncy castle not able to fit in the hall and allowed us to have it in the parking lot at the back of the hall. Overall great service, I highly recommend lotos for any party planning. My husband and I appreciate him being so generous.“

“The last two times I've used the drive thru, they've gotten my order wrong. It wasn't until I was at home before I noticed - just a little frustrating. On a positive note, i noticed tonight that I had no issues understanding the person working, they're English was spot on. I was also provided with plenty of napkins and ketchup packets, definitely not the case when others are working.“
