“I can say that i have been deeply disappointed in many many McDonald's locations in Southern Ontario.
Today i stop at a tiny whokevin the wall McDonald's inside a Walmart.
Service phenomenal

“Best place to go for a delicious bite to eat after a nice long walk in the nature. They have the best hot dogs, poutine, burgers and ice cream, especially their famous lavender lemon ice cream. “A friend and I had such a fantastic experience tonight. Our server Jessica was such a kind women who did an overall fantastic job! She was keen to keep an eye on her tables, accommodating, and brought such a warmhearted atmosphere to the table. The food my friend got was very good I was told and my nachos were incredible!“

“I am coming to this location all the time, because Devon provides outstanding service.
Very unlikely for a fast food environment she checks in with her customers during slower times to see if everything is to the guest’s satisfaction. She also takes complaints about the often dirty washrooms seriously and escalates the issue to Management right away.
Coming from customer service management myself, I would like to congratulate the owner of this location for having her on the team.“

“The food here is incredible and reasonably priced. Also, decent discounts for students. Just ask the lady at the counter and she'll help you with any questions. The vibe is really chill and comfy and the washroom is super clean and well kept. This is my new regular spot.“

“So disappointed this last time I went to Hutch's. I ordered a large fish and chips and both pieces were barely the size of what one piece used to be. I always got a large because I would only ever eat one piece and bring the other home for lunch the next day but not anymore. Both pieced fit on the plate and were covered with fries you couldn't even see the fish and trust me there wasn't as many fries either. Definitely not worth 18 bucks anymore. not saying I won't go back but it won't be as often as I used to. I am going to start looking for another place to get my fish and chips.“

“I recommend the Locke St location which is excellent. But I just had delivery from either the King W or Dundas one that was brutal. Tortellini soup had like 3 Tortellinis and the burgers had clearly been pre cooked but not reheated tastied like cold grease and the cheese was not even remotely melted and still cold. Anyway the Locke location is awesome but wont do delivery again in case the delivery service goes to another location.“

“Went in for the burger deal. The girl who took our order (Mya) was very pleasant. The girl who dressed our burgers (sorry I didn’t get her name) was great and did not skimp out on the pickles! I was happy to see the Christmas decor still up and the music still playing. The restaurant was clean and when I mentioned there were no napkins they got some out right away. I will return to this location.“

“A delightful return to Harvey's after 20+ years! The burger was spot on, with a patty that captured the essence of Harvey's. The curly fries, though, stole the show - crispy, salty, and utterly addictive 😋. Would definitely recommend them. 👍 4/5 stars - a tad more sauce would be great 🤷‍♀️.“

“It is one of the best location of A&W I had been to. I visited there on Friday with my friend and ordered plant based burger. The burger was fresh and delicious. I was served by Priyanka. She made sure that my order was being made perfectly and provided outstanding customer service. Highly recommended location.“

They recommended different ways we could save money by taking advantage of deals on the A&W app. When my partner accidentally left their bag behind, they found it and kept it safe behind the counter for us until we could get back. “Had a 2 piece cod and chips meal with coleslaw.$18.95. Best fish and chips I have had in a while. Cod was crispy and not overly battered. Good size pieces as well. Too much for me but as the cod was thick it reheated in airfryer the next day beautifully. Now my favorite go to for fish and chips in Hamilton. I want to amend this to say there are new owners as of 2025 and they have changed the menus. This review was from previous owner.“

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

“Being a vegetarian I don’t usually go to these burger chains but i had to try their new masala burger.
I was so amazed, it was very fresh tasty and loaded. Couldn’t ask for more.

I tried their plant based before but I didn’t like it.
Only downside was cleanliness. I didn’t have much conversation with staff so can’t say anything.
Overall good experience. Will go there again.

“I am currently disabled, using a cane. The hostess behind the counter was very helpful, bringing my tray to the table. The Double Buddy I ordered was hot, juicy and tasty. The onion rings were too crispy so she graciously made me another batch which were excellent. Both servers were very polite and extremely helpful. I have been dining at A&W locations since the 60's in the days of the carhops (I miss that aspect). I highly recommend this location.“

Been meaning to try Odd Burger. Saw a special BOGO on Uber Eats so I thought, why not? I was so impressed! The Preposterous Burger was so good, and the fries were so crispy and delicious: I can't wait to go back and try something else!“

“The owner of lotos is incredibly amazing, I rented the hall for my daughter’s 1st birthday, he was super helpful, and accommodating. We ran into an issue of the bouncy castle not able to fit in the hall and allowed us to have it in the parking lot at the back of the hall. Overall great service, I highly recommend lotos for any party planning. My husband and I appreciate him being so generous.“

“Ordered the 1pc fish and chips for lunch. The lady working as friendly and answered all the questions gladly before I placed my order.

This fish was a good size and a little on the bland side but fried perfectly! Chips were fresh and also sizable portion.
Overall good quality food, big portions for a reasonable price. Will definitely be going back :)“

“Went for a quick treat with dad as other location on king/Ottawa was packed. Was in and out at this location.

Sucks they got rid of the bench out front,.but because of the neighborhood I can understand why.

I would encourage this location to not allow drug users to hang around their parking lot and taking up parking spaces. As I sat and had my ice cream, people came and left once they seen the drug users sitting there passed out.
Maybe get together with the store hire security to discourage this behavior.

Would be nice to have a small table out front instead having to sit in my hot car.. bring back the bench.“

“my daughter bought the chicken tender meal for both of us. She asked for the smokey BBQ sauce on them. Plus used a coupon for buy one banana split or parfait get one free. The tenders with the sauce were so good.“

“The last two times I've used the drive thru, they've gotten my order wrong. It wasn't until I was at home before I noticed - just a little frustrating. On a positive note, i noticed tonight that I had no issues understanding the person working, they're English was spot on. I was also provided with plenty of napkins and ketchup packets, definitely not the case when others are working.“

“Typical fast food burger place. Food is reasonable. Clean restaurant, the staff were friendly and attentive and the service was good. I rarely go to that place with the clown.. their food is lower quality than Wendy’s. If I feel like a burger, I prefer here.“
