“I went in simply to get a coffee, when I met the server, Anmol. She was an absolute delight. She made me a great vanilla oat latte and encouraged me to try the puffs. They were so light, fluffy, and tasted super fresh. This experience was short but it made my short and uneventful walk, very memorable.“

“I have been watching the renovations of this place from start to finish as I kept driving by during Covid and all this summer. I was curious about what was inside but never had the time to stop in. We had friends visit unexpectedly from out of province today and decided to try it out. It’s beautiful inside with more than just a coffee shop/cafe. It was so much more than I expected! “Lovely Pakistani food spot. Excellent food. Almost all their customers are Pakistani. I visited there yesterday with some friends, really enjoyed the food. However, I was shocked to see garbage left outside the walkway. What a shame it will be to get recognized as an uncivilized nation. Please spread the word. Request our community to prove themselves otherwise. Disposing garbage is not the issue, the issue is our mindset. The restaurant owner should also look and post signs outside the restaurant prompting customers to maintain cleanliness. Thanks!!“

“I've been to Wildflower several times since they opened and have tried many of their pastries. I cannot say enough good things. Everything I have tried has been fresh and so tasty. From the malassada to the sugar donuts to the picos and croissants, all so good. If you have a chance to try to bola de carne DO IT. I remember the first time trying it and it blew me away. A big shout out to everyone that works there. Always friendly and happy to answer any questions that I have had, especially about the more traditional offerings that I was not familiar with. Today I was needing lunch so I decided to try the rissóis de camarão and the bifana sandwich. I could have eaten ten of those shrimp patties ?. The first thing I noticed was how incredible the sandwich smelled. Then I tasted it. It tasted even better than it smelled. Do something good for yourself and give this sandwich a try. They made our wedding cake which turned out fantastically. Very authentic Portuguese bakery. Their custard tarts are just like those in Lesboa. My favourites are cinnamon pinwheels, blueberry scones, custard tarts lemon raspberry cheese cake, Raisin bread, Cheese bread, chocolate croissants. Custard buns.“

Hubby had the roast beef wrap with kimchi and the special drink of the week, which was an iced coconut raspberry chai. Everything was delicious. Art all over the walls for sale by local artists. I know most places just have to thaw/warm up their donuts and no one really takes the time to actually make their baked goods, but I do have to say that CS's donuts are better than Tim's. They're not overpoweringly sweet like the ones from Tim's, they have just the right amount of sweetness. They're also really addicting.The staff at this location are very friendly and welcoming.
