“Really personable establishment with a beautiful atmosphere. We sat out on the patio and tried a couple flights of wine that we chose, which is great as a lot of wineries really limit what you can choose. Our fave was the Viognier.
We visited 6 wineries on our visit to the Niagara area and this was by far the best.“
“Stopped here for the first time yesterday morning. My knowledge of wine is there is red, white, and pink... so I feel intimidated walking into wineries. Not Flat Rock! The crew at the door as we walked in were very cool and very down-to-earth making the experience relaxing, enjoyable and somewhat educational without feeling judged! Here's where it gets even better. My wife sorts out what flight she wants and when it came my turn I said I didn't really know, I'm more of a beer drinker! "We have beer"! We have choices from Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. in Dundas (LagerShed Original is very good). This was the icing on the cake, now they had 2 very happy visitors. Thank you for a great experience, the location is quite stunning. My wife, Les really enjoys your wines and the beer rolled you to the top of the visit list when we're back in the area.“
“I don't even know where to begin. My wedding this past weekend was held in the back of the vineyard at the HEW Park. Our dinner & dance reception was in a gorgeous white tented space with a stunning outdoor ceremony backdrop of mature trees and white hydrangeas, and an outdoor stage space, perfect for our cocktail hour. With our first-look, and sunset photos down a woodsy path to the harbour, I couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful!
This venue served nothing but the most immaculate vibes!
Cassie and her team were nothing short of outstanding and did the most with helping me create the day of my dreams! Communication was excellent, the catering through the venue was incredible (We still have guests messaging us about how amazing dinner was), and the flow of everything was stress-free. The chats back and forth to accommodate last minute changes, and discussing how we can take what was in my brain, and put it out in the real world was easy, and took away a lot of pre-wedding-day-stress!
Oh, and the wine was great! I had the Pinot Grigio, and LOVED it!
I went back to pick up some items that I couldn't fit in my first trip, and realized that this space is definitely a new happy place!
Thank you, Cassie & Harbour Estates Winery team, for making our Wedding Day vision come to life! We couldn't have asked for a better day!
Can't wait to be back! :)“
“Passed by Cave Springs on the back home during a winery trip with the girls. We love the cave springs Pinot Grigio and always order it or pick it up at the LCBO. We got to try different wines that are not at the LCBO. It’s a very nice tasting room, they are also dog friendly. Dog items are on the menu and I was also able to pick up a little treat for my pup. It’s good to know for next time so she can join me and get her own barkcuterie board.“
“My son and I found this winery last Saturday and just loved it. The staff was wonderful. They had a musician playing outside and we sat at the tables and wine tasted. The wine was amazing!!!!!!! We definitely will be coming back! Thank you Westcott!“

“Amazing, cute winery with some great wines and lovely staff!“
“Visiting Villa Romana was an unforgettable experience. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt hospitality, we truly felt like part of their family. Their passion for winemaking shines through in every detail — from sharing the rich history behind their wines to the care that goes into each bottle. Every tasting was exceptional, with flavors that reflect both tradition and love for the craft. It’s clear that Villa Romana isn’t just a business; it’s a labor of love. We’ll absolutely be returning to stock up on more of their incredible wines.“
“We had such a fantastic experience here! Even though we were a bit rushed on time, everything was perfectly set up and ready from the moment we walked in. We were definitely a loud, lively group and they couldn't have been more welcoming or patient. The owner was incredible-so generous with the samples and made the whole experience feel fun and personal. Great sense of humour!! We can't wait to come back when we have more time to truly soak it in!“
“My wife and I went to Rosewood to sample their wine. We left amazed, very happy and so looking forward to going back!
We ordered two flights. One was wine and the other was mead. Yes mead! Holy crap! My first experience tasting mead led us to buying two different bottles of the types we loved!
We also had a meal of sorts of assorted sourdough and the most glorious honey butter you will ever taste! Did you know ow mead is a honey product? I didn't. The sourdough was so amazing, we bought a loaf before leaving (we obviously also bought some honey butter! Like duh.)
Lastly Alyssa needs to be highlighted! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. While my wife and I are nor conoseirs so to speak, I did hear her at other tables talking in depth about the wines they inquired about or were tasting.
For us Alyssa's kindness and enjoyable personality was more than enough. She was so personable and helpful. We will be back because of this experience! We will buy more bread and honey butter. We are also considering becoming members.
Bravo Rosewood! You not only have amazing products but your employees set the standard!“
“Beautiful place to visit and enjoy some of the best food and wine at the Winery. Very classy and friendly place to spend time.“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had the BEST experience thanks to Charles. From the moment we started our tasting, he went above and beyond—walking us through the wines with so much knowledge, patience, and genuine enthusiasm. He explained the why behind what we were tasting in a way that was educational without ever feeling pretentious or boring (a rare talent!).
On top of that, he was incredibly fun and personable—great energy, great conversation, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and memorable. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it absolutely elevated our visit.
If you’re lucky enough to have Charles lead your tasting, you’re in for a treat. We’ll be back—and hoping he’s working!“
“Enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the gardens when they put on a Rosé event.“
“I’ve never been a butter tart fan - BUT that has changed forever (if they’re from 13th Street’s Bakery) I picked up a couple pecan nut butter tarts and raspberry & Coconut butter tarts!! Wow I’m in love from the flaky pastry to the Devine filling💕💕💕💕. Oh and their breads - definitely worth a visit. We will back very soon. Thank You🌸 PS - They deliver too 🙌“
“Nice place, welcoming people, good wine and nice food. I appreciated particularly how the food (chinese inspired porchetta stuffed with hoisin and black bean paste, topped with pear slaw, yuzu mayo and ceisp spicy pork skin) was presented by the chef.“
“Amazing service and delicious wines. Staff is very knowledgeable about the different types of wine. We enjoyed our visit today and will be back.“
“Some of the best Gamay in Canada! Super lovely people and gorgeous surroundings.“
“We had the best experience visiting Organized Crime today for a tasting. We had Jill help us out and she was so amazing - stayed and talked us through everything, we learned so much about the wine and winery. It truly was an amazing experience because of Jill. The wine was also amazing, which was only expected because of the many awards they have won. Organized Crime has won itself as one of my favourite wineries now, and I would highly recommend the visit!“
“Nice hidden gem, good wines and a beautiful location.“
“Fantastic winery! We loved the bubbly wines. The rose is the best rose I've had and the Meritage and Cabernet Sauvignon were excellent! The owners are fantastic and explain the wines and climate impact on the taste. Would highly recommend.“
“Such a wonder gem. Highly recommended“

“My girlfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Good Earth Food and wine. The portions, pricing, ambience, service, and food itself were all wonderful and made for a great celebration. We each got a wine flight, and three piece meal. After a delicious appetizer selection of Burrata, and chicken liver parfait, I enjoyed the chef sandwhich, Bahn mi, and my girlfriend was raving about her steak frites. An overall experience I would highly recommend!“
“Amazing experience . I would recommend the 5 courses tasting . It was out of its world .“
“Just amazing staff! Thank you 😊 especially on a family day weekend! Wines are the best!“
“Such a wonder gem. Highly recommended“
“What an amazing experience with winemaker Jon! He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the craft of creating these wines. Every single sip was delicious and full of notes. The hardest part was choosing which wines to bring home. Our friends and family love it when we open one for all. A beautiful setting to enjoy these sustainable and well made wines! We will be back again and again!“
“My wife and I stopped for a wine & charcuterie board lunch at Niagara Custom Crush Studio and had a great visit. The charcuterie board was excellent, we both enjoyed our wines (she chose a Stoney Ridge Chardonnay, while I had the Unscripted Cabernet Merlot) and the setting in their gardens was beautiful.
Because it's a virtual winery with multiple winemakers selling out of their retail store, it has a large & diverse selection of wines.
All the staff were very professional, and I have to note that I had a unique shipping request for the wines I purchased and they accommodated that request without any pushback.
Highly recommended.“
“Came here with my family to celebrate my 30th birthday! We had a lovely time tasting wines; the tasting guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were great, we even got a couple of bottles to gift our friends. We will definitely come back in the summer.“
“I first tried their wine a decade ago with my sister over dinner in Toronto — we were both stunned by how good their Pinot Noir was. And then, just like that, they stopped producing. Fast-forward to last year when I spotted their bottles back at the LCBO on a road trip to NYC I grabbed one and took it to a friend in NYC, who couldn’t believe wine that good was just across the border.
I was visiting a work site in Beamsville and realized we were 6 mins drive away and said to my husband “We have to go before they close.”
Well… they’re back.
And wow.
The vineyard building is gorgeous, the staff are genuinely lovely, and as it turns out, ordering a few bottles in October for our Thanksgiving dinner made me a wine-club member without even realizing. My husband gives their Clos de Kew Chardonnay two thumbs up. I’m officially in love with their 2021 Claystone Terrace Pinot Noir.
They also offer a French-inspired charcuterie plate for two — house-made country pâté, local cheeses, and the perfect excuse to linger a little longer and enjoy the view. Highly recommend“
“Had an amazing experience at Magnotta Winery in Beamsville. The atmosphere is welcoming, the wines are excellent, but what truly made the visit stand out was the customer service.
Bre went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel personal rather than rushed. She took the time to explain the wines, answer questions, and made us feel genuinely welcome — the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.
You can tell when someone actually cares about what they do, and Bre absolutely does. If you’re visiting Magnotta, you’re in great hands. Highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.“
“We had an awesome time at Featherstone winery for a friend's 50th. For the tasting menu, we each had a choice of 3 different wines. On top of that we had the nicest charcuterie board available. Along with the usual meats and cheese, it also came with the nicest dried fruits like apricots and figs. Afterwards we were given a tour of the winery where Bruce gave us a wonderful tour. On top of that we managed to safely cross the bridge. It would be great to return next season to see the sheeps graze the vineyard“
“Great selection of sparkling wines!“
“Wine tasting was a wonderful experience. The wines they offered were a good selection, and then purchased three other wines from their sample list, with no disappointments.
Very friendly, and knowledgeable about their selection!
Will definitely be coming back.“

“We had an amazing tasting experience for my daughter’s birthday with Donnatela on Saturday. She was knowledgeable and very personable while educating us on the selections. We decided to stay for an amazing lunch too based on her recommendations. The patio and outdoor space looks fun too so we will definitely be returning.“

“Brunch at Megalomaniac Wine is a composed and visually elegant affair—food that looks considered, restrained, and quietly confident.
I began with the Daily Dumpling Co. wontons—steamed spinach, pine nut, and shiitake parcels dressed with miso-chili oil, scallion, and kimchi. The presentation was clean and intentional, and the flavours followed suit: earthy, umami-forward, with just enough heat to warm rather than dominate. Balanced and well judged.
The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict Tartine arrived beautifully plated—poached eggs perched neatly over smoked salmon on a crisp French baguette, finished with lemon-chive hollandaise, pickled onion, and herb-garlic crushed potatoes. The eggs were properly cooked, the hollandaise bright and controlled, and the salmon smoky without excess. The potatoes added welcome texture and grounding comfort.
My wife’s Roasted Turkey + Brie Sandwich—with apple chutney, sumac onions, basil aioli, and dressed field greens on a schiacciata bun—was equally composed. The sweet-savory balance worked well, and the sandwich held together both structurally and conceptually.
I had no real complaints about the food—everything was tasty, well seasoned, and confidently prepared. If I’m being particular, it did take about 17 minutes for our order to be taken, though once that point passed, service and pacing were smooth.
This isn’t a brunch that aims to overwhelm; instead, it delivers consistency, thoughtful presentation, and flavour clarity in a relaxed winery setting. A solid, enjoyable experience—and one I’d gladly repeat.“
“This lovely gem is situated on the Beamsville bench with amazing terror of limestone, clay and sand soils, which really comes through on every single riesling and Cabernet Franc Emma produces. 30 Bench has the best Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon- also hands-down one of my favorites every time I visit! The wines are very well balanced, with long lingering finishes. For a boutique winery- Very well priced! ( the first boutique winery in Beamsville!) this is a MUST for anyone who loves Riesling and Cab Franc!“
