“This is a great, quiet cafe. Plenty of space inside, and a calm, pleasant atmosphere.
The coffee is solid, I believe they sell The Artery Community Roaster coffee which I really like. The cafe has savoury options but I always come here for the desserts. The muffins are my go to. There’s a nice variety of squares and bars that I also like to pick from, including these really great lemon blondies.“

“The staff were polite and cheery and the food was generally great. My one complaint is that they didn't seem to know how to steam milk too well but I didn't really mind. I was more interested in the tarts. Love that they had vegan and gf options. Vegetarian options for lunch as well.“

“Simply the best coffee. Tout simplement le meuilleur café. Freshly roasted, and ground onsite for your preferred coffee-making approach (espresso, conic filter, drip, etc.). Just ask for what you’re looking for in flavour profile, and they will help you find a beautiful new coffee.“
“Definitely worth a visit! I love this place! It sells food made by students of the Culinary Arts program at Algonquin College and the prices are excellent and quality of the food is amazing! Items include breads and bagels, sweets like cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and savory dishes like lasagne, pastas and pad thai. The prices are below market - got a delicious full carrot cake for $15 once that rivaled, if not was better than a $60 city bakery cake.“

“This is my go-to-spot for any of my coffee needs. I love their centro house blend and the smiles of the baristas. They really make the place inviting! But recently, I have noticed the lack of chalkboards and makes the place really dull. The vibe without it is really impersonal and sad. Bring back the chalk board!“

“We had my sons 10th birthday party here today. James was their instructor and I cannot say enough good things. The obstacles were fun and challenging. The instructor was so engaged and enthusiastic, he was constantly playing with the kids and making up all sorts of games. They absolutely loved it! 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to go back!“

“It was my first time at this location and it was easy to find. Climbing up the stairs I noticed that there were no accessibility ramps. The staff at the front counter was very cheerful and friendly in her greeting and our conversation. She was helpful in explaining the variety of scones.
I came to purchase and leave however i did notice they had an eating area on the left side of the ordering and purchasing counter where one could order a scone sandwich and eat.
There were jams and jellies for purchase that the staff were sure to promote as well as pointing out the frozen scones in the freezer.
I went back the following morning to buy a variety of scones to take to a breakfast meet-up.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not wheelchair accessible. As a matter of fact I spoke to staff about that very subject. They have been there for 3 years. Enough time to address those accessibility concerns.“

“Love this place! Today was my 4th time to this cafe and I absolutely loved their Cold Latte and Americano. The girl (with the tattoo) made the most tastiest chicken sandwich.
This will be my new goto place for Latte / Americano !“
“I've been coming to this location occasionally for a little while since It's fairly close to my work. I've always loved Bridgehead's Dark Roast (Bytown Boom), it's one of the best cups of takeaway coffee in town. Staff here have always been friendly and efficient at their jobs whenever I've visited. I also love the fact that unlike Starbucks they've brought back the self serve bar for milk and sugar, etc so you can fix your own drip coffee (I go out of my way to come here just for that). They also have raw sugar available which I prefer. Nice, tasty breakfast wraps for the odd time I do get one. Overall great location!“

“Great soups, sandwiches, salads. Affordable prices! For example, a soup is $5.25 and a Caesar Salad is $6. A Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich or Vegan Wrap is $7.50. Importantly, the food is tasty! Paninis are incredible!Definitely get food here instead of Perspectives Restaurant at Brookstreet Hotel. It's much more delicious.“
