“Got some coupons in the mail and decided to stop by Harvey’s for a quick dinner. The food was yummy, fries came out nice and hot, and I totally forgot they had apple pie here! The staff let me know it would take about 5 minutes since it’s made fresh, which I really appreciated. Service was great, and it’s also super convenient being close to home. Definitely a solid spot for a quick and tasty meal!“

“Edit: after coming here a few times I can honestly say it's a very fun and good-vibes bar. Everyone including the guests are a ton of fun! Playing pool here is a blast!

“We recently ordered food from Diner King for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Above and beyond service. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered bbq chicken, potatoes steamed vegs, penne pasta in a rose sauce, spring rolls, tossed salad and bread. Highly recommend this gem of a place“

“Excellent service. I picked up my order that day. It was two whole roasted chickens... wonderful. I love everything I order from Swisschalet. But I'm in love with the spring roll and chicken quesadilla. They're delicious. I highly recommend Swisschalet to my friends.“

“I didn't know what to expect. Came for breakfast with my wife the next morning after veld. The service was great. Our waitress was extremely friendly. The eggs Benny hit perfectly. My wife got pancakes and bacon and everything was delicious. Great place to hit up after a weekend at veld!“

I will be back often now that I have found them. And how I found them was a recommendation from a stranger standing behind me in line at a different samosa restaurant closer to home when she over heard me saying I hope they also had beef samosas. “We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding reception at The Doctor's House. From the start, communication was smooth and any special requests we had were accommodated. The team worked seamlessly with our planner, which made the day run effortlessly.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning—especially in the summer. The garden in front of the chapel is breathtaking and created the perfect backdrop for our photos. It was actually the first venue I visited during my search, and I instantly fell in love.
We also booked the overnight suite for our family and bridal group, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable. In addition,The Doctor's House provided a bridal suite for the day/evening, which was right by The Great Hall so made for great use during the night.
Overall, The Doctor's House played a huge part in making our wedding day so memorable. I’d highly recommend it to any couple looking for a charming, elegant venue.“
