“My family and I got takeout from Pearl House and all 4 of us thought it was outstanding. We really enjoyed the jumbo egg rolls and the chow mein. It was fresh, hot and well priced. The restaurant is very cute and although we didn’t eat in, it gives a really authentic vibe which I loved. The woman who cashed us out, was kind and ensured we had everything we needed. We will definitely order from here again.“

“One of my go-to places for Chinese food in Ottawa. The taste is authentically Shanghainese and tastes just like the food I've eaten in Shanghai. Their pork wonton soup and spicy beef brisket noodles are my go-to (of course, with their pan fried buns), and are delicious with generous portion sizes. Their shop is a bit small though, so it's good to go early or call ahead to get a spot! Their pan fried buns are also perfect to re-heat in the air fryer if you get take out.“

“The food was delicious, but there was hair in the food. My appetite suddenly dropped. We need to improve hygiene. I should at least wear a hat while cooking. Next time you invite me, I hope the restaurant that preserved this deliciousness will be a little more sanitary. Best of luck.“

“I’ve been here many times and it’s consistently amazing! The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor, with generous portions every time. The ladies working here are incredible, super friendly, hardworking, and always keep things moving smoothly, even when it’s busy. One of my favorite spots at Bayshore Food Court. Highly recommend!“

“We had food tonight from Chinhon for the first time. A friend recommended it. We are so happy she did. It was excellent and even though a bit of a drive, well worth it. The people are super nice and the food was delicious. It will be our go to place going into 2026. Happy New Year! 🎇🍾🥂“

I think they have a different cook now the food has changed a fair bit and not for the good. ie general tso chicken was very tough.
We only have this as a treat to ourselves and our guests. I guess those days are gone. We will go to Party Pizza instead.“

“This business has many years of history that's obvious. Delicious food consistently served in takeout format and they don't forget stuff. Preparing good food quickly and serving with a smile using REASONABLE prices, who can do that!!!
Vegetarian options: I would not eat vegetarian but every item is beautifully and freshly made with good quality and decent amounts. I am so happy“

“I've been ordering takeout from this place for over 15 years. The food is amazing, they can basically do any dish you want and it will be good. I like their vermicelli plates and their chinese food. They also have excellent seafood and fried rice.
I would definitely recommend eating here if you're hungry :)“

“Been ordering from Wan's for many years. Always a big hit with the whole family. They can get busy on special occasion days (like New Years Eve, Mothers Day and Canada Day) but we know this and order with this in mind. “Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. Definitely think I've found my new Chinese delivery / take out place!“

“Oh my god. I love Chinese food and have eaten at many fine establishments but this place is on another level. Some of the best food I have ever eaten hands down and my family loves it too. For sure making this our regular go to. Recommend 10/10.“

“We ordered our Chinese food from the Country Place Chinese Restaurant for the first time today. The food arrived hot and was just about the best Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time! We asked for no onions and they cooked all our dishes that way, which is very important to me. I highly recommend Country Place if you are looking for a wonderful meal!

“Celebrated my brother in law's 50th birthday in a restaurant surprised me the first time I heard about the invite because this family loves food and making them well from scratch. Nonetheless Sea King Restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had a cosy room all to ourselves [ party of 11 adults] which is why it worked so well. Every single item that we ordered is good and has its distinct flavor., from the soup, to dimsum and mains, which is saying much because time and again, when you order this much variety, chances are the flavors are similar and just disappear into the next. Worth going back if you like fast service and delicious Chinese food.“

“Awesome prices! Amazing spring rolls for a good price. For 18 you get a combo plate and the portion is massive! Great service me and my mom called today the 9th of January and were ten min away (4:50pm) and she said 45 minutes and we asked if she could do it any faster. We got there and we got our food and a free drink(5:05pm). Love it here definitely coming back!!!“

“We ordered Uber Eats. Delivery time was slow (an hour for Merivale and Meadowlands. Food was authentic and portions were generous. We got aubergine stuffed with minced shrimp which was tasty and not too greasy. Stir fried choi sum with garlic sauce was crisp but under seasoned. Apologies that we only thought of taking a photo long after digging in.“
“I've been searching Ottawa for the best Yang Chow Fried Rice (fried rice with shrimp, chicken and bbq pork) and I may have found it at Wing Hing! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared to perfection. The staff is really friendly too! I'll definitely be back.“

“Take out only. Inside could be a bit cleaner ... but ... we found the food service and quality great.
We came from Barrhaven at recommendation. We have tried and found all places in Barfhaven not great tasting. This is why we took longer drive to Manotick.
This will definitely be pur chinese take out go to place.“
