“Pearl House Dining Lounge in Manotick is our go to for take out and dine in for Chinese Szechuan cuisine. When we order food to go, the portion sizes are huge. The containers are chock full of deliciousness! Everything we have ordered over the last year has been fresh, flavourful and cooked to perfection. When we have dined in the restaurant, it was even better. The service is great and we always get exactly what we ordered. I give this place five stars and highly recommend Pearl House if you are looking for a winner.“

“We were really impressed with Chinhon restaurant takeout. The food was incredibly fresh and certainly provided that Canadian-Chinese food nostalgia. It would be nice to get some free white rice like other spots offer, and I found the MSG content a bit high, but unlike the other review, the garlic spareribs were some of the best I've ever had. We will certainly order again.“

“Well priced and great tasting noodles, but a bit crowded.The noodles are excellent when it's hot, and they are by far tastier when you eat at the restaurant (I've ordered here with an app before) but the place is a quite cramped with 4 2-seat tables and 1 4-seat tables.And occasionally the wait time is a bit long as they seam to prioritize call in and app orders over once in restaurant. But for all the things I dislike, eating the fresh noodles when they come to your table is fantastic!??“

“Believe the reviews! We tried this place tonight and ordered pickup. Specifically the bacon fried rice, lemon chicken, egg rolls, beef with green peppers in black bean sauce and Singapore noodles. They were all delicious. I thought reviewers might have been overhyping the egg rolls but the first bite disavowed me of that notion. They are FANTASTIC! We will get all of our Chinese takeout from here from now on. Lovely and quick service, they seem to be a fantastic business.“

“We ordered from Dragon Fortune Delight for the first time tonight and we were so pleased with our meals. The food was delivered in an hour which we expected but it was very warm and so tasty. We loved plates the food comes in. The portions are huge and the price was right. We will be ordering again, that's for sure.“

“Quality of food has gone downhill. General Tao chicken was sour and house fried rice was basically chicken fried rice with 2 shrimp thrown in. Very disappointed.“

“This business has many years of history that's obvious. Delicious food consistently served in takeout format and they don't forget stuff. Preparing good food quickly and serving with a smile using REASONABLE prices, who can do that!!!
Vegetarian options: I would not eat vegetarian but every item is beautifully and freshly made with good quality and decent amounts. I am so happy“

“Everything is simply awesome. The menus are simple, with a lot if options. The service is very polite and friendly (and online ordering is a big plus), food is delivered very promptly (one time it was 15 minutes early!). The food portions are generous, but quality is not sacrificed for quantity. What's a cool plus is that they use a mix of Styrofoam and reusable plastic containers (not only better for storage but a little less wasteful). I have only eaten 3 times from here, but have been very happy all times. The fried rice, general tao chicken, chicken balls, and egg rolls (among like 5 others I've tried) have all tasted great. Definitely think I've found my new Chinese delivery / take out place!“

“Liu's is our go-to for Chinese food in town. The open ended eggrolls are delicious! Staff is very courteous and we've never had any issues with taste or temperature of food as we do pick up. Many complaints about food being cold or taking awhile to deliver? But that's not the restaurant's fault; take that up with your delivery service.“

“Tried for first time tonight on recommendation of two friends. I now highly recommend. The veg in the dishes were fresh and perfectly stir fried, not soggy at all. Flavours were subtle and tasty. The portions were huge. The service was outstanding and accommodating. Spring rolls were big but just OK. Thanks for a great meal! We ordered: garlic spare ribs, veg chow mein and kung pau chicken.“

“We ordered our Chinese food from the Country Place Chinese Restaurant for the first time today. The food arrived hot and was just about the best Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time! We asked for no onions and they cooked all our dishes that way, which is very important to me. I highly recommend Country Place if you are looking for a wonderful meal!

“I have been here a few times since I moved into the neighbourhood and I've always enjoyed the food. You get great value for what you get I always get a few meals ordering two entrees. The staff is always really friendly and I love it when the cute little guys are there playing in the front of house they are never in the way but it's so cute to see them playing. I always recommend this place.“

“The grilled fish hot pot is the best menu here. Love the fried eggplant, and skewers are not too spicy (for me lol). They made good drinks too but the shaved ice is the real star ⭐️ They stayed open late so a pretty good spot to hangout. Also have karaoke room but I haven’t tried yet. Will probably come back for that and more bingsuuuuu 🍧“

“Used to get their lunch specials and combo plates which are good value. One of the better egg rolls in Ottawa, they make it in house. Has daily specials and online ordering. Salt and pepper pork chops are good, general tsos is not spicy enough, fried rice and crispy beef is good but their seafood is mediocre for take out including the eggplant shrimp which tastes too salty. Gets busy on Friday night.“

“Been ordering from Wan's for many years. Always a big hit with the whole family. They can get busy on special occasion days (like New Years Eve, Mothers Day and Canada Day) but we know this and order with this in mind. Ordered this evening and they thru in a free 2024 calendar. 😀😀 Happy Year of the Dragon.“

“Best shrimp fried rice in town. Love the golden mushroom soup. Most times food is delicious, but occasionally there are food issues like great fried rice with old stale peas. A few time wrong food was prepared and man who hosts is too serious. He needs to smile more. Over all recommend, but could improve a few things.“

“I've been searching Ottawa for the best Yang Chow Fried Rice (fried rice with shrimp, chicken and bbq pork) and I may have found it at Wing Hing! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared to perfection. The staff is really friendly too! I'll definitely be back.“

“First time going there and amazed! Great food.
After going year after year the food is still amazing. The only down point is other people have found this hidden gem and they are swamped with orders. If they say 45 min it will be ready in 55 min. Worth the wait!! 10/10“

“This was our first time ordering from here in many years. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered quite a bit. Eggrolls are open-end. We ordered the sweet/sour chicken balls, garlic spare ribs, almond guy ding, fried wontons, fried rice and the Szechuan Beef. All were excellent. Lots of meat in the almond guy ding and Szechuan beef. We'll be back! Thank you!“
