“Delicious food here. But the service is GOD Awful!!! The waiting time is anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes from the time you order. Be sure to check your food before leaving countless times you get something else or missing items. The food here is good not gonna lie there. But the service staff are either slow or let you wait there very long. If they said it's gonna take 10 minutes that's a LIE your waiting close to 40 mins. Would order again here but knowing the times is best. This is my experience from the last 10x I've been here. Lots of uber drivers there waiting and swearing it's fun to watch.“

Last night, our group of 10 visited King Tandoori after hearing many great things about the food. I can honestly say the food lived up to the reputation. Everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. The kitchen deserves a lot of credit.

Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the food.

Throughout our visit, the owner stood behind the counter but never once came over to greet us, ask how we were doing, or check on how we were enjoying the meal. As someone who values hospitality, especially in a restaurant where relationships and repeat customers matter, this was disappointing.

The woman who took our order was polite, but there was very little warmth or engagement. A smile, a welcome, asking if it was our first visit, offering recommendations, or simply checking in during the meal would have made a huge difference. The interaction felt very transactional rather than hospitable.

What surprised me most was that even after our group left a generous tip, there wasn’t a simple “thank you” or acknowledgment.

The food was easily 5-star quality. The service, unfortunately, was not. With just a little more attention to customer experience and hospitality, King Tandoori could become truly exceptional.

We’ll likely return because the food was that good, but we hope the customer service improves and becomes as memorable as the cuisine.“

“I had the pleasure of eating at Goa a few days ago. The lady who seated us and helped with menu selection (Mary) was very welcoming and helpful. The menu is very interesting and diverse. “We recently ordered catering from Shayona for an event, and it was an absolute hit. The food was outstanding—every dish was packed with flavor and clearly made with care.

The Undhiyu was rich and perfectly spiced, the Daal had a great balance of flavors, and the Dhokla was soft, fresh, and just melted in your mouth. The Shrikhand was the perfect finishing touch—creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet.

Every single guest loved the food and kept going back for seconds, which says a lot. The entire process—from ordering to delivery—was smooth and professional, making everything stress-free.

“I previously visited Annalakshmi on Hurontario and didn’t have a great experience there, but this visit was the complete opposite. The hospitality at this location was excellent.

We came here with our cousins and tried the South Indian thali. Everything except the rice was refilled once, which was a nice touch. The garlic parotta and accompanying masala reminded me of the famous Andal Parotta from Hyderabad. The Madras fried rice also felt similar to a street-style Schezwan fried rice.

Overall, every dish we ordered was under $20, the portions were generous, and easily sufficient for one person.“

“I really enjoy the food from here, especially the prawns biryani and the curry both are very flavourful and well spiced. What I particularly love is that the prawns curry uses a good quantity of small prawns instead of the a just a few large ones that are often in used in other restaurants. We were disappointed with the service provided by Shriti. When we asked for some foil to wrap our roti, she handed us a piece that did not appear clean, which was concerning. Additionally, she was quite rude in her interactions and was constantly yelling at a coworker in front of customers. This created an uncomfortable and awkward atmosphere during our visit. We hope management addresses these issues, as good customer service and professionalism are important to the overall dining experience.

“Just bought bread pakoda. An honest chef owner gave me pakodas with an apology and explanation that pakodas were a little crispy and I don't have to pay for them. He gave me my money back. And it turned out the pakodas were cooked perfectly fine and delicious!. What a great experience by such an honest chef/owner. Maa Annapurna will bless his hands, his kitchen and his business.“

“Ordered the butter chicken roti and the street samosa and really enjoyed both, I'll be back. The butter chicken is delicious, though next time I'll add chick peas or something more on the filling. What you get is exactly as described - butter chicken in a roti wrap - and it could get messy. The street samosas were two samosas smashed, sliced and coated in sauces, sort of like a taco-bowl. Also delicious, and a big portion for an app. The mango lassi was just right and super thick, skip the straw and just crack the lid. Cheers!“

They make it so authentic, tastes like a home cooked meal. Secondly I love the Chai tea! I don't know what the secret is but it's amazing, I always get it paired with Paranthas. Lastly the service is amazing too, you can tell they respect and appreciate their customers.“
