“I attended a family event at Farro and I cannot praise the service and the food enough. Their gnocchi and pizza can compete with the high end downtown restaurants! Staff were attentive, knowledgeable and ensured I never had an empty glass. This is a gem in Maple that's a must visit.“

“First time attending Anna and Lucio’s with family and would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be coming back!!! From the atmosphere to the service and food it was phenomenal. The photos are the Calamari to start, amazing not to salty, very flavourful. The special was straciatella with spinach and tortellini. Amazing soup and the portion was filling for an appetizer I was quite shocked. They also gave us 2 servings of bread (which many places do not do that). For the mains we had the mushroom risotto, very rich, flavourful and creamy perfect amount of seasoning. Not too watery like most places. The veal chop with a SIDE of penne alla vodka was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try 2 different dishes so they accommodated for me to get 2 different pastas (shows in photo 4) for the price of one dish. The handmade gnocchi with meat sauce was amazing and full of flavour and my second choice was the penne alla vodka and I was very happy and satisfied with my choice. I have never been to a place where I could get 2 great portioned and flavourful dishes for the price of one!!! The veal Parmesan and penne à la vodka was to die for and was cooked perfectly not full of fat like some other places that I have been toO!! The tiramisu dessert was amazing along with the pistachio, lemon and tarrone was very light, yummy and sweet!! The service was amazing. The accommodations that we were able to make along with the portion size sizes is very rare to find and made the experience 100% better. I would for sure recommend doing a party or coming here for special occasions or just something casual!!!“

I actually drive 20 km from my home just to eat here, even though I have three Pizza Pizza locations within a 5 km radius of where I live. That says a lot. The difference in taste and quality is worth every kilometer.

“What an amazing experience we had for our anniversary at this Gastropub. Unassuming from the outside but the food and service were exceptional.

We started with some fancy cocktails that had the perfect touch of class and theatrics. The lobster roll was stacked perfectly and the Frito Misto had a light batter that was one of the best we’ve had. I will not hesitate to order both again on my next visit. Our main pasta dishes were delicious and did not disappoint either as we had the Rigatoni Carbonara and the Ravioli Porcini and Tartufo. We ended with the Chocolate Lava Cake and the Chefs Famous Bread Pudding that were the perfect end to our meal.

Overall we had an amazing time and we’ll definitely be back. The table side service for the appetizers and desserts were a nice touch with the food being plated for you.“

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner with friends here indoors last year in the summer and this time around we enjoyed a quiet dinner for two on the patio. My guess is he had no problem asking us to leave because we were two females hence the reason he felt he could bully us, however, it would be a different story had he asked a couple to leave. “We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! “Since my parents were staying at the Monte Carlo Inn I went there for dinner few times over the past 2 weeks. Last night, we had the pleasure of celebrating two of our family members at Zafferano Ristorante. Although we're not from Toronto and had never been to this restaurant before, our friends had booked a large section of the venue for over 30 guests—so we really didn’t know what to expect.

What followed was nothing short of amazing.

We started the evening with some beautifully crafted cocktails. The drinks were delicious, and our waiter was quick to offer creative twists on our usual favourites—setting the tone for the night ahead.

When it came time to sit down for dinner, the experience only got better. They kept bringing out plate after plate until we could barely move! The food was phenomenal: every dish was full of flavour, perfectly served at the right temperature, and visually stunning.

A special shoutout to our waiter, Alex. He was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring our glasses were full and that every new course arrived with perfect timing.

It was an incredible night and the perfect way to kick off our vacation. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and memories we’ll talk about for a long time.“
