I ordered the deluxe set. I enjoyed the dynamite and spicy salmon rolls which came with it. What I didn't like in the deluxe set was the cream cheese rolls, which came as a surprise to me as I ate it.

Service ♥️: 8/10⭐
Nothing bad about the service.

Service speed 🐢: 5/10
The food came after about 25-30 minutes

Price 💰💰💰: 4/10
Some of the items were quite expensive. If I recall correctly, there was a boat for $72 which contained about 36 rolls. $2 per roll is probably not a deal I will take.

Atmosphere 🪰: 4/10
The restaurant was clean, but the main problem was the flies. They were flying everywhere and landing wherever they please.

“The staff are always really friendly, which makes eating in feel relaxed and welcoming. The sashimi is usually pretty decent and fresh, though a couple of the salmon pieces were a bit stringy on this visit.

The chirashi don was the standout for me – for around $24, the portion and quality were totally worth it. I also order from this place a lot on Uber Eats and the food is consistently good when it arrives. Overall, a solid neighborhood sushi spot that I’m happy to keep going back to.“

“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

“I searched omakase online and saw this restaurant. Walking distance from Lawrence station and I decided to give it a try.

A little restaurant. 3 customers including me, only the chef is running around and serving us. No other staffs.

$115 for the omakase. The fish is very fresh and tasty. I also have wine pairing $36 for 4 glasses. The price is very reasonable for the omakase on Yonge Street.“

“Incredible experience at Sushi Land!
This was my second visit, and once again, everything was absolutely amazing. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get.

The staff were so polite and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. One of the best touches is that with every sushi order, they serve a complimentary miso soup — and it’s genuinely delicious! They also bring you a pot of green tea with your meal, which just makes everything feel even more thoughtful and complete.

I highly recommend trying the Alaska roll — it was a standout! Honestly, this is some of the best sushi I’ve had in recent times, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Sushi Land has earned a solid spot on my favorites list!“

“Visited here yesterday for dinner. We ate until our hearts were content 😃 We tried several rolls and they were all great...the deep fried ones are good too. Tired the chicken skewers, salmon teriyaki, tempura, beef ribs all tasty. Tried the 3 different cakes and other sweets all lovely. Buffet was $38 a person. The bubble tea was extra but the guy took that off our order since we didn't know. Overall service was quick, food was fresh and all tasted great.“

“We were craving sushi, and found this little place. We ordered Takoyaki, dynamite roll sushi, and chicken karaage. The takoyaki is a bit salty, maybe because it has too much sauce, but the Chicken Karaage and dynamite sushi was really good! Overall, I would highly recommend this place! We'll be back here again for sure.“

“The quality of the food is fantastic. I had salmon teriyaki for the main and deep-fried soft shell crab for the starter. The main came with rice and miso soup. Everything is good. Didn't wait that long for lunchtime. I'd come again to try some more dishes.“

“There are at least 5 sushi restaurants within 5 minutes drive for this area. First time try Kitano, there are many takeaway customers more than dine in at Sunday night. The restaurants is clean and seat comfortable. Sushi are fresh and the Udon noodles are tasty. The pork katsu are crispy. We will try their takeaway again for gathering.“

“This was our first time at Takumi and we are pretty happy with this place. We order a platter and tempura appy. The restaurant didn’t look busy but there were a lot orders coming in for delivery or pick up. The platter took longer than we hoped but it is Friday night. We have been noticing that orders coming in take precedent over orders taken from customers dining in.
Overall, the fish was very fresh and the sashimi was cut generously. We enjoyed ourselves and will probably come back.“

The staff was friendly, helped me out with picking options out from their huge menu - the food was so flavorful and fresh, the only thing I wish they had was an AYCE option because of how great all of the food was! The prices here are definitely on the higher end but honestly, the quality of the sushi, sashimi and even the miso soup made it feel all worth it! Everything tasted clean, fresh and truly made with intention. They even surprised us with matcha ice cream at the end of our lunch, which was so sweet and thoughtful. “Their servings of food are not just instagramable it's deliriously fresh, clean, and worth every bucks.
Service is great, as well as the ambiance. We were given a separate room that four to six people fits.
We ordered soft shell crab that superbly met the cravings we've been looking for. The bowl of sashimi is great to share with four people together with other food items you decide to order with.
You'll never go wrong with all the dishes they offer.
You'll enjoy coming over by yourself with friends, family, and special loved ones. Must put in to one of your must to go to place to celebrate and hang out with.“

I ordered the Beto Box dinner which came with 2 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of salmon each resting on a bite sized mound of rice; thin slices of teriyaki chicken over vegetables; a healthy portion of white rice; 2 spring rolls and sliced orange fruit. It was all very well prepared and had wonderful flavors.
Next time I am in Toronto, I will be paying a visit to explore the other treasures on the menu.“

The vibe was casual and welcoming, but with just enough flair to make a weeknight dinner feel like an occasion.

Their new Milk Tea Bar added a fun twist to the meal. The Original Milk Tea with Pearls was creamy and smooth, with perfectly chewy tapioca — a refreshing surprise in a spot best known for sushi. It felt like the kind of add-on that made you want to extend dinner just a little longer, chatting and sipping.

Of course, the food itself carried the show. The AYCE menu was stacked with options: endless rolls, fresh sashimi, and all the Japanese staples you’d expect. But the promos made it even better — the snow crab was meaty and tender, a real standout, while the Fanny Bay oysters were plump, briny, and served fresh.

This was more than just an AYCE dinner; it was a lively evening out where food kept arriving, drinks kept flowing, and the new milk tea counter gave it all a playful, modern spin. For sushi lovers looking to add a little variety to the routine, Wakame Weston delivered big time.

“What an incredible find! I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Ren's Sushi and was blown away by the quality. I called ahead to order a Green Dragon roll and some torched salmon sushi, and everything was ready for me to pick up right on time.

“Great service and cleanly kept place and washrooms. The tempura sauce lacked flavour which is frustrating because it tasted like flavoured water, and no amount of dipping or soaking my tempura would help. The rice in the sushi and in the bento box was stale, but my mom liked it. Nice selection of things to eat though, and the tempura was nice and crispy. Bought a la carte, and service was fast.
