“I love coming to Magic Noodle for both the food and the service. I’ve tried many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. One of my absolute favorites is the beef fried noodles, so flavorful and satisfying. Their house-made chili oil is a must-try too, I loved it so much I bought a jar to enjoy at home. Highly recommend for anyone craving comfort food with great taste and warm service.“

“Hidden quite well. Adventure to walk to at 7 pm. But great noodles and food.

Its good, both soup and dry versions are great. Either way you win, the sides dishes are also quite nice. While it isn't the best knife cut noodles I've ever eaten it still tastes good.

“Quiet little noodle place with excellent food, friendly staff, good prices, tidy and clean. My fav is their beef noodle soup, includes pop. You can chose the level of spiciness, from none to insane. Even the side dishes are great (I’ve had the chilled bamboo shoots, chilled mung bean soup, and the kelp side dishes), usually there is a monthly special priced one written up in chalk (use google translate camera to interpret). There is free underground parking.“

“Just stumbled upon restaurant while on the road. I was searching for a restaurant offering vegetarian options and I was not disappointed by this one.
Small and cozy but fits a lots of people. Staff was fun, helpful and guided us through the menu.
The soups were delicious and the portions were large.
Hope to return next time we are inthe neighborhood.“

“I really like their taste. It feels like home. The food is also very sufficient. Mung bean soup and gluten-stuffed meat are made by Wuxi people with my eyes closed.

“Wow! Simply this is one of the best noodles soup bowl that i eaten! Came in was greeted and sat at a table. The server asked me if i had any allergies. I took the pork belly with egg noodles mild spice and mild numbing. The broth was so flavourful, there was some peanuts and preserved vegetables. Coriander and green onions to top it off. Explosion of taste and the noodles were a perfect consistency.

Hands down got to try this little place! Such a delightful discovery! Would come back for more next time :)

Oh by the way, for those who are extra hungry they have free noodle refills!“

“We had an excellent experience at this pho restaurant! The ingredients were very fresh, and every dish was full of flavor. The pho soup with raw beef was absolutely delicious, and even the curry pho was impressive. The lemongrass beef with rice was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The fresh rolls, both with grilled beef and shrimp, were also excellent. Service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. “Nice, fast, convenient bowl of noodles. My gf and I always get the supreme beef tomato broth soup noodles.

Big bowl of noodles, nice portion of beef (the meat is also not too fatty which is good) and super hearty tomato broth.

The soup is always piping hot, never diluted and the rice noodles are always cooked firm.

The utensils also don't smell of dishwashing detergent which cannot be said of some of the other locations we've been to.

We come here as a changeup from our usual go-to, peanut chili noodle soup bowl at Deer Garden.“

“This is my go-to joint for when I am craving Chinese food. Food is always fresh and flavorful. Always ready within minutes of ordering. Love their har gow, thai vermicelli chicken, beef flat rice noodles, spicy chicken, mango chicken, fried rice and spring/egg rolls. Also the owner is super sweet and packs chili oil for me every time, as she knows I love it with my food. :)“

No beer (or any alcohol) to kill the heat but there are other drinks available.This location seems to be more generous with their portions but the flavours seem lighter. Still good.Unfortunately there is only one single stall unisex washroom, so sometimes you'll have to line up.Good service, nice ladies.“

“Visited this Chinese BBQ stall in the First Markham Place food court and ordered the red sausage and BBQ pork on rice. At $10, including Chinese cabbage and a side of soup, it’s one of the best values you’ll find in the city.

The flavours were great, and the portion size was generous. However, the fattiness of the meat can be inconsistent depending on the time of day — something to be aware of if you have a preference for leaner cuts.

Expect a wait. We went on a weekday evening and waited around 15 minutes. Also note that it’s cash only, so plan accordingly.“

“We were in the area looking for something to eat and spotted this place. We ordered the crab & corn thick soup, Singapore rice noodles with shrimp & pork, chinese broccoli with beef and snow peas in garlic sauce. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed all the dishes. The staff were friendly and the place was clean.“

They came out with a combo meal that I really love with the cold chicken sesame noodle, drink and chicken wings since I always get that noodle it’s my #1 for sure and now I get a drink and a side for a little more. “Came by Peking Man for dinner with the family, first time at this new location, though I used to go to their old spot back in the day. The food’s still just as good as I remember! We were the only ones there (but it was early, around 4:30pm), so it was super quiet. Tried the $79 meal deal and really enjoyed it! The lobster was fresh, and the Peking duck was awesome as always. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving solid Chinese food.“

“Yang's Braised Chicken Rice (Woodbine) is best known for its signature dish, Braised Chicken Rice. The braised chicken is tender and flavorful, better add some tufu skin and quail eggs，since there are so many add on you can choose，making it a perfect match for rice. Other dishes on the menu are considered average in terms of taste.“

“I had been meaning to try this place out for a bit and finally remembered to go.
We grabbed 2 of their lunch specials to go. The restaurant was fairly quiet when I went so ordering and wait time was short.
The place looked clean and AC was working.
Onto the food.
The banchan - japchae and kimchi were pretty good, well seasoned and not too fermented. The potatoes tasted a bit bland - lacked some seasoning.
L5 - chicken bulgogi - not bad, tasted like a spicy chicken stir-fry with vegetables, was bell pepper heavy. If you don't like that might be an issue for you. Don't really get why they called it bulgogi - it doesn't have the classic char or bulgogi marinade taste under the spice. Was a good sized portion for the lunch price and sauce went well with the rice.
L7 - Jab chae rice bowl with beef - my sister said the japchae portion was good but the beef was a bit dry and also a bit bland (not marinated enough?). There was a squiggle of sauce drizzled over the meat and egg, didn't add enough to the rice to balance the tastes.

Overall not bad - don't regret trying it and might come back to try some of their other items (i.e. fried chicken and stews) as it it very close to home, but for now Sung Won near Unionville will remain our go to for Korean in Markham.“
