“I don't go to Pacific Mall very often these days, especially to eat, but when I do, Sun Kitchen is my go-to place. Their food is always freshly cooked and delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. This time, I had Beef with Bitter Melon and it was very tasty. My friend had the Sweet and Sour Pork Cutlet and that was really yummy, with a nice crispy texture. Both dishes were really good! Check out Sun Kitchen the next time you're at Pacific Mall in Markham!“

“I was looking for a simple beef noodle soup and found Magic Noodle, I don't like pho or fishy things so their selections here are perfect for me. I went with the lamb soup and it was amazing. A mild curry broth, tasty pieces of lamb and the noodle texture was too good to be true. I also tried the Lychee drink and it was quite good with lots of shaved lychee fruit inside.

This might be my new favorite restaurant, theres a lot of side dishes i want to try (scallops, popcorn chicken, skewers, potato slaw, wings) and at least 4-5 other soups i need to try.“

“Absolutely authentic Shanxi Noodles, reminding me of the flavor of homemade noodles. Must try! Guoyourou is the most famous dish of the province and they make it very decent! Try the noodles with tomatos and egg base, that’s how local people usually eat it!“

“Not meritorious (this is a neutral word).Personally, I feel that it is not as outstanding as the standard noodle series, nor is it unpalatable. The advantage is that meals are served quickly. It is suitable for use as a dining hall when you are in a hurry or don’t know what to eat.“

“Food was amazing, went too many times to count and never failed to impress. Easy to order, multiligual staff and lots of modification options if you need to make changes. Food portion was always amazing and food never failed to impress. Customer service is also one of a kind and never seen before from the wait staff and especially the front of house guy. Atmosphere is nice and cozy and quiet and the overall restaurant is very clean. Highly recommended!“

“I'm a big fan of their chilli chicken! it's full of flavour and a good portion for 2 people.
The vegetable fried rice was a bit bland and a bit oily, so will likely opt for white ride next time.
The people are really friendly. This is 100% takeout, so it would help If they spent a few hours to clean the front area. Simple things such as clean the floors, windows and just make the place look and smell clean and not make it look like a storage room.
Will definitely be back and hoping this place considers my feedback. Wishing them continued success!“

No beer (or any alcohol) to kill the heat but there are other drinks available.This location seems to be more generous with their portions but the flavours seem lighter. Still good.Unfortunately there is only one single stall unisex washroom, so sometimes you'll have to line up.Good service, nice ladies.“

“Hey Noodles is my favourite noodle place. Seriously, I could go every weekend. I get the Salty Crispy Chicken noodles every time, and I have never once been disappointed. My husband usually gets the beef brisket and he loves it. Plus you can get as many orders of egg noodles as you want as long as you still have broth!“

The dish was a bit of a mixed bag—the beef, while lean, felt tough and lacked flavor. On the flip side, the pork and chicken were fatty and flavorful, which helped balance things out overall.

The takeout process was straightforward. I ordered online through their website and picked it up at the specified time, with payment handled in-store—quick and easy. One thing that caught my attention was that unlike other Vietnamese spots I’ve visited, this restaurant didn’t offer an option to select a single protein with the vermicelli noodles; the dish automatically included all three.

While I’m undecided on a full recommendation just yet, I’m intrigued enough to return and explore other dishes on their menu.“

“Much busier than I thought, it was Monday evening at 6:20pm, and we had to line up waiting for the table. Memories of the servers surprised me too, they didn't need to drop down any notes when I placed order. The entire team was very friendly and offered assistance without us asking. Because it was full and some customers talked very loudly, it was super noisy.“

“Yang's Braised Chicken Rice (Woodbine) is best known for its signature dish, Braised Chicken Rice. The braised chicken is tender and flavorful, better add some tufu skin and quail eggs，since there are so many add on you can choose，making it a perfect match for rice. Other dishes on the menu are considered average in terms of taste.“

“Amazing restaurant serving northwestern comfort foods! The service is wonderful and the staff really make you feel like you’re eating at your aunty’s house. Staff can speak both Mandarin and English, so don’t hesitate to try this restaurant! The restaurant is not too busy most of the time, so you’ll likely be able to walk-in easily.

Their menu items are all packed with umami flavour, with many options for spicy and non-spicy lovers! Soups have a rich bone broth with many dishes being noodle-based. They have a wide variety of proteins from beef to chicken to lamb to tofu, so there’s something for everyone.
We had their new combo specials that come with 4 fried chicken wings and a drink—it’s such a good deal! Food portion is large and so delicious, and at such a great price of $15-17 each set!
