“Food is awesome. I usually order the lasagna, rose penne and the eggplant parm for Christmas or holidays. Amazing is an under statement. I am Italian and these dishes are comparable to my grandmother’s (Nonna). My Italian and none Italian family and friends enjoy these particular dishes very much and it’s always the talk at the table for how delicious the food is from Main Street Italian eatery. They can’t be beaten for price, quality and flavours… no way. The service is like I’m speaking to family members and the atmosphere is very nostalgic for myself as I grew up with my grandparents down in St. Clair avenue downtown Toronto and my grandfather would bring me to all the cafes and treat me to a cappuccino and desert. 🤗“

“I heard about La Rose from some locals so I went there to grab lunch. Everything looks great so I had a hard time choosing. The staff who was helping me was very patient and explained everything and suggested a few combos. I went with one of her suggested combos and OMG 🤤 soooo soooo delicious. 1000% home cooked meal sold in this store. I can’t wait to go back and try other meal options. Their cold pre-made sandwiches also looked great so I’ll try those too.“

“I have ordered custom cookies 4 times in the past year. 3 baby showers and 1 birthday party. The cookies are absolutely delicious and the designs are always so wonderfully done! I have even had guests ask where they were from and also ended up ordering cookies from here too! Everytime I have a question, I receive a prompt reply and my questions are always answered with lots of information provided. The service is great. Their pies, scones, cruffins are delicious, just the right sweetness, unlike the other Bakers that inject sugar in their goods.
