“We recently used Pumpernickel's for an office event of 17 people, and the experience exceeded expectations. We ordered the chicken (halal) and salmon meal combo, along with additional falafel wraps to accommodate our vegan employees. Every item was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The standout items for our group were the salads — especially the Spiced Chickpea Salad, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato & Kale, and the Spinach Salad. Across the board, everyone agreed these were some of the best salads we've had at any catered event. They were vibrant, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced. Beats the pizza and sandwiches we have tried from other companies in the past.

The chicken and salmon entrées were also a hit — both were cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the grilled vegetables. Amazing flavour. The falafel wraps were hearty and satisfying, making our vegan staff feel thoughtfully included.

“I used this location a few months for catering to organize an event in the hospital. Staff is always so friendly, and so is the supervisor (I think his name is Adil). He gave me directions on how to place the order online, it’s a fairly straightforward process, and he also worked with his team to make sure the order was ready at the time requested. Additionally, he had supplied me with plates and napkins which speaks to the care and service they want to deliver. Everything was nicely packed and labelled for food restriction items. I will be coming back here for another catering event I have to do for the hospital as the staff here makes the process 100 times easier.“

“I had Porta Via cater one of our lunch and learns and the food was so delicious that I recommended it again to have at a lunch celebration. It was so easy to organize and order online. We choose to stick with the bowls/salads and it did not disappointment. Each meal box had names on it so it was easy to distribute. Would definitely order from Porta Via again.“

“I was there yesterday to celebrate my 10 year anniversary, and also to propose to my long time girlfriend! Big thanks to the server, I’m sorry I forgot the girls name, I caught her by surprise to present my ring, and she did a good job with the presentation! It’s my third time in this restaurant and the food is always great! My favorite dishes so far are Prime Rib of Beef (even the regular cut is big I’m not even talking about the special Aristotle's Cut which is gigantic) and Rack of Lamb! “I got 2 bowls the ahi tuna and Oaxaca with steak(spelling?) My husband and I were actually pleasantly surprised fresh ingredients and the delicious sauces. Staff was nice in helping me order since I've never been before.

The other comments below saying they rather go to quesada or subways is a joker. Quesda down the road has rude staff and they do no have good fresh ingredients. The prices are almost the same too. Freshii also accepts gift cards unlike quesada.“

The broccoli cheddar soup is good, it taste like any other one but the real star is the sandwiches, I got the new steak sandwich and it was delicious. My husband got the chicken noodle soup he said it wasn't very good.“
