“Probably one of the best spots for lunch in Newmarket. Hands down. 15 at most for a fantastic sandwich, better food and cheaper than McDonald’s for real food.
Expect quality level of a $20+ sandwich if you were downtown, great food, great people who run the place!“

“Everything we had was so fresh and well made. Husband LOVED his Reuben sandwich; Greek salad was icy cold and crisp, and loaded with pitted olives. Daughter’s chicken pot pie had the flakiest crust, and my squash and pear soup wasn’t sweet and was sooooo fresh. And the BUTTERTARTS!!! Every variety was outstanding. Loved the outdoor grassy patio; definitely will be back. Grazie.“

“Tried meltwich for the first time tonight and was so pleased with the service we got. The young woman at the counter was eager to make sure we got exactly what we wanted from ensuring we were comfortable with the level of spice of my sandwich, added extra pickles right before our food was ready as we nearly forgot to ask, and even asked if it was ok to give our son a juice box “on the house”. Great communication and went above and beyond with service including plenty of ketchup and napkins without needing to ask. Food was great and very happy with our first impression!!“

“I came here today to try the Spicy Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich. I was greeted with a smile from very friendly staff. :) I was concerned that it might be too spicy, but the counterperson said that they could tone it down with less sauce. The sandwich was excellent. Freshly cooked, very nice chicken breast with a light crispy coating. The fries are fresh, not frozen and the fountain drinks are unlimited. I will be back!

“I live an hour away, however, my daughter lives in Newmarket. I first fell in love with Hamish's when I lived in Scarborough so visited their Pharmacy & St. Clair often. I now live far away from T. & was so happy to see them in Newmarket. Visiting my daughter tomorrow & treating us to fish, chips, gravy & mushy peas for lunch. Rare treat but when I want it, I get it!“

“Second time being to this location, always seems to be pretty good. My daughter loves the robot that delivers the food. I had the same waitress twice. She did a fantastic job. If I had a suggestion, make sure you haven't ran out of the cheese bread and the Caesar salad. The fries on the menu are the cheapest thing for a restaurant to purchase and serve. Make sure that the fries are full and don't be a cheapskate on them. Other than that, overall great experience“

“Ordered a shake that they couldn't produce so the creative staff (Emma and company) mixed some syrups together to approximate the flavour and nailed it. Three people at the window while I taste tested it reminding me they'll do whatever I need to make things right. This at a fast-food chain! A tip of the hat to you Miss. Cheers.

“This is my favorite Mary Brown branch. It is conveniently located near the Newmarket soccer club too and it never disappoints. It’s hard to grab something quick specially when we have a long drive home after the kids are done with their soccer practice but thanks to this location they get a post practice option whenever we need.Service is faster than most locations.“

“We love North Burger! Best food around here & great prices, too! The owners are very nice & it is always fast & the quality is amazing! Only downfall with North Burger is their signage out front. It's not easily readable & I think alot of people miss this gem because of it. Bravo, North Burger! You know you're good when I can never decide what I want when I come! ?“
