“My daughter and I had dinner at iCook Pho You tonight, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered hit the mark. The service was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It felt like they really cared about making sure we had a great meal.

I enjoy the Rare Beef Pho, and often get the shrimp or pork rice rolls.
One advantage is this place is close to the office. So I can drop in and the food is always quick.
All the food is delicious!
Staff are always attentive, even in a Bass Pro Shop hat.

“I've eaten here before and it's always been great. Yesterday, we had the salmon and tuna sashimi the calamari and the seared beef salad. It was all fantastic, but the seared beef salad was absolutely incredible. Our service was also fantastic. Thank you so much!!“

“Liu's is our go-to for Chinese food in town. The open ended eggrolls are delicious! Staff is very courteous and we've never had any issues with taste or temperature of food as we do pick up. Many complaints about food being cold or taking awhile to deliver? But that's not the restaurant's fault; take that up with your delivery service.“

“We had an amazing meal at Merivale Noodle House! We ordered the roasted quail, which was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. I also tried the Bún bò Huế (Hue-style beef noodle soup). The portion was huge, the broth was rich and flavorful, and it came with plenty of fresh herbs and toppings.

“2,2,6,7,3 Number of people in under 15 min. Water on all tables, drinks, orders all prioritized and spaced for the kitchen. Everything in the window taken less than 30 seconds. Tables cleared under 5 minutes. Called for help only when needed. Handled both take-out and dine in without breaking pace. Knows how to hold plates and deliver confidently. “Great vermicelli pork and spring roll bowl! You can choose how many toppings you want, and the price is quite good. Their vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is delicious too. I do have to say that my partner got double the amount of spring roll for no apparent reason though, but nevertheless, definitely try it on a warm summer day!“

“Huong is so kind and clearly holds so much pride in the food here. :^) And for good reason; the bun bo hue had amazing depth of flavor in the broth and very lemongrassy which was so addictive!! + I could tell that they take care to clean and skim the pork hock thoroughly to get rid of the funk. Ordered two medium well done x2 beef pho and stirfry lemongrass beef vermicelli. Asked to make the pho spicy. THE FLAVORS WERE INCREDIBLE! Everything came out hot and quick! “Alright, so this place kind of struck me as soon as I walked in by just being wonderfully quiet compared to the street outside. I came in on a really hot, busy weekday, and inside it was just serenely quiet and cool. The tables are awesome, even if it’s maybe a weird thing to fixate on, but they’re these big, solid wood tables with like 2 inch thick quartz granite tops. It was really nice to put your arms on the cool granite on a super hot day. It was just a really nice sensory contrast to the street outside.

“We visited this restaurant for dinner as a family on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent even though it took a little longer than anticipated. We ordered one house special pho, one lemongrass chicken vermicelli, one fried chicken poke and one salmon poke.

The server apologized for the delay. It was a busy night with the restaurant full of patrons as well as many take-out orders. Perhaps this was the reason contributing to why it took longer for the food to arrive than anticipated.

It was a pleasant experience overall. I will return if I am nearby the area next time on a weeknight perhaps.“

I ordered the BBQ Beef rice dish, and it was absolutely delicious—the beef was tender, perfectly marinated, and had just the right hint of smoky sweetness. Paired with the fragrant rice and fresh veggies, it made for the perfect meal.

What made the visit extra special was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The two sisters who run Viet Express are incredibly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to help me understand the menu, making suggestions and explaining each dish with such care. They made my whole family feel right at home, and their helpfulness made choosing even easier.

“Good Banh Mi must have liver pate, a little mayo or aioli, birds eye chilli paste, pickled veg, meat, and a fresh baked bun that is crunch in the outside but still light and airy on the inside. I lived in Hoi An, Bourdain's self-proclaimed Banh Mi capital of Vietnam, so I know what it takes to make a good one.

This is good here, but ultimately misses the mark in the special touches that take it from a regular sub sandwich to a proper Banh Mi. Hoping they improve on the little things and it could become the best in the city!“

I ordered the spiciest curry on the menu with the added wish "extra spicy," and the kitchen did not disappoint. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, good pricing. During my two hours in the restaurant, a valuable piece of jewellery fell to the floor and I left without it. I contacted the restaurant about it and left my name and address. The service can admittedly be a bit slow - but i can guarantee you it's all worth it for the general Tso's chicken. The combination of flavours and veggies that go with the perfectly cooked chicken is immaculate. It's everything you want in a crispy and saucy fried chicken dish, but without being overwhelmingly greasy: instead, it's fresh, tender, and beautiful.
