The food is always amazing no matter the location, the servings are generous, and the staff and servers are friendly without being intrusive. I really liked their high chair for little babies. It was the type that attaches to the table — it was perfect for our 10 month old!“

Our food came on time, was delicious and hot. and all 8 of us enjoyed every chopstick full of such tasty food. “The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

“I’ve been a fan of Bloomer’s Vegan Bakery for a while now, and I love that they offer such high-quality, affordable vegan pastries. Their donuts are a particular highlight — always fresh and absolutely delicious. However, I do feel that their cakes could use some improvement. We’ve ordered cakes twice, and both times they were a bit too sweet and sugary. I believe a little adjustment in the sweetness level would make them just perfect. This is meant as a supportive critique because I really love the bakery’s offerings, and I’m hopeful that they will refine their cakes to match the high standard they set with their other treats!“

As a sashimi fan I was pleased to find more rare options like Ikura (Salmon Roe), Uni (Sea Urchin) and others (that very few in my group ate, they loved the maki rolls). Which is solid, everyone can get what they want here. Solid drink menu, creative and non-alcoholic options was nice. See my pictures, some good food here and a stand alone restaurant is a great way to get away from “mall-time”.“

Only thing I don’t like is that often, I’ll walk far to get there only to see that it isn’t open when online it shows it is or sometimes, there’s a sign to show when someone will return and has stepped out so can be frustrating. Highly recommend calling ahead to see as it’s usually a crapshoot but regardless it’s worth the frustration for this pizza

“Really good Gluten Free bread options. The thin style is just enough to make them “eat” and taste as close to the real thing. I found these at Wegmans along with many other brands. I’m a BIG fan!

I do have one recommendation, please find a way to make your options for bagels “full sized”. I’ve not found a brand who can master them. They are always gummy, dense or both.

“The owner was so friendly when we walked in the door. He gave us lots of time to look ofer the extensive menu and gave us a great education lesson on his fancy pizza oven. The pizza was fast and delicious and the garlic dipping sauce I could eat on its own!“

“I love this location! I've been to a few in the downtown area and this is by far my favourite of the locations. The staff are so helpful, welcoming and so friendly! The menu can be a bit confusing but the staff are willing to help you with anything. ? I usually get the Tofu delight, which is a vegetarian option. The tofu is flavored to perfection. Some days, I also add the satay steak and it's cooked perfectly where the steak isn't tough or rubbery. Definitely a spot to check out if you want a hearty salad and if you're in the north york area!“

“Pretty good place. I like it because it feels more friendly and less fancy than Congee Queen. The food is very similar, I think it’s the same company. A new special menu just came out - with innovative dishes like special mushrooms, rice noodle roll with beef and truffle flavour. Good job to the chefs for creating new dishes!

The prices are still Ok, they’ve gone up a lot since the pandemic but it’s still affordable for me. I have come here with many friends and the food is consistently fresh and tasty. Thank you Congee Wong, you make my life so much better. However, I find the servers a bit slow or inattentive at times but that might be because I eat alone often, during off peak hours. They have a great deal between 3-5 pm weekdays where there’s a special menu and you get either a HK milk tea, lemon tea, or red bean with ice cream drink free. I think people get the red bean with ice cream a lot in that weekday afternoon special. It’s very worth it. Everything else is fine.“
