Patisserie/Cake Shops near Oakville, ON

“I’ve had my eyes on this place for a while now, but never had the chance to try their delicious desserts. They specialize in original soufflé cheesecake and basque burnt top cheesecake. They have recently partnered up with Balzac’s Coffee and offer their coffees.

They have cute and small cafe with a few chairs available inside and 2 tables outside. We ordered “Matcha Cloud Tiramisu”in a cup. It was soft and fluffy. Not too sweet which was great.“

“the la mancha dessert was really good! i would recommend if ur a fan of berries. the butter croissant was very pretty, lots of gloss and layers visible. in terms of the taste, very buttery and flaky. staff are nice and gave me recommendations when i asked, would come back!!“

“It’s a decent place to get some pastries and grab a sandwich. Coffee is very good. I’ve been going there for a couple of years and have noticed the prices go up a couple of times recently. I don’t understand why the receipt is not itemized? Especially with their price increases recently. Should be more transparent.“

“I had my sister’s wedding on Sunday. I ordered 150 pieces of those “dark almond cookies with almonds”. I ordered them 2 days before the wedding and they were able to accommodate my last minute request! I was happy to receive them very fresh. I had a lot of our guests come and ask where we got them from because in Libya we serve this type of sweet/dessert at our weddings and special occasions.“

“It was our 1st visit at the bakeshop, although I heard lots of good complement and we decided to try it out. Sweet smiles, even sweeter treats! The bakeshop is a slice of heaven.. 🙂“

“We visited the Sherway Gardens and decided to try out the Danish Pastry House. We have an innate liking for rum balls and gave that a shot first. At 6 rum balls for $6, it seemed a deal one could not refuse. And we were not disappointed. They were delicious to say the least and not saccharine sweet as we were used to having before from other bakeries. Clearly, the Danish Pastry House became our favorite for rum balls and we will look no further in future. Then my husband decided to try the chicken quiche and we loved it too! So we decided to take out some double Belgian chocolate brownie and chocolate chip cookie for home. Very friendly staff too.“

“When I want to treat myself, I head to the Danish Pastry House to pick up their cinnamon bun bread loaf. The next day, I turn it into my favorite French toast. Here’s how: mix one egg with some cream and vanilla, slice the bread, dip it in the mixture, fry it up, and serve with fresh berries and maple syrup. You’re welcome enjoy.“
