Even though it was a busy period, the staff were incredibly friendly and showed great initiative to get my guest and me seated. The space feels cozy and intimate—there was a little bit of noise because of the crowd, but it wasn’t too loud at all. Highly recommend!”

The pickled onions were the perfect pucker-y condiment. The local cheese was divine. Pair that with their top notch fries, beautifully seasoned and served with a house made ketchup. I’ve been dreaming about it since. Our server was wonderful, A1 service! She (I can’t recall her name) came for a quality check and I turned with a single tear running down my cheek and asked her to hold me, I was having a spiritual moment with my meal. The Innis & Gunn was cold and the lines were clean! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the food that we had! We will be back - and that’s a promise!!!”

“I visited Tahini for falafel and had a great experience. One of the staff members named Vimal was very polite, friendly, and helpful. His behavior made the visit even better. The drinks, soup and entres came out in a timely manner and both she and the manager popped by our table soon after to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. The Beet and Goat cheese salad was a good size and very tasty. I ate the whole thing and will be back soon to enjoy it again, and with any luck, Vanessa M. will be there to serve us too! The restaurant could use a face lift, but was otherwise clean and welcoming.”

This by far is my favourite spot to dine in Orillia after dinner you can take a lovely walk down to the lake to enjoy the sunset.”

The freezer meals save me from cooking when I get back home and the canned pickles and salsa are the ULTIMATE!!! Very reasonable prices and the portions are perfect! “Cruising down Highway 11 from Muskoka and the sudden urge for an ice cream cone came upon me.
We were approaching Orilla so dialed up ice cream parlours and a few spots came up.
One oddly connected to a car wash, just couldn’t wrap my mind around that one.
So we headed downtown to Cool Cones.
Nice old building with lots of fresh airy space inside.
Lots of offerings other than ice cream as well.
Of course I ordered the largest cone they had, and my wife ordered the smallest.
Rang in under $15.00 so a reasonable price.
The staff were very polite and friendly as well.
I’ll mark this one on the map for a return date!”

“good review: very friendly staff, always happy and chatty, gets most of our orders right, all food is always fresh bad review: can't get a simple tea right large tea TWO bags ONE and A HALF milk (even tho its right on the screen), coffee is always old and always serves the expired coffee before the fresh one, was told today that 2 and a half milk is not a big difference then 1 and a half milk. THEY ALSO SAID THEY WILL NO LONGER REPLACE MY TEA B.C ITS A EVERY OTHER DAY THING. this is NOT what tim hoetons stands for and you would never tell the owners or head office this.... would you?”

“I’ve been here twice while visiting Orillia. I have some newly discovered dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy) so since then eating out has been a bit of a chore- especially since I’m still learning all of the sneaky things that contain gluten.

Both times I’ve been here I asked the staff for assistance and they have been super helpful in recommending dishes that meet my requirements, as well as offer substitute suggestions. The food tastes great and is faster than a lot of fast food places. I will be making a point of trying to stop in whenever I’m in town and need some lunch.”

“To whomever was making pizzas on Nov 28th 2025 around 5pm, you did a fantastic job. There was a good helping of toppings making the pizza stand out! Others working should learn from you on how to prepare and make a pizza! This is by far the best order we have had in my 10 years of ordering from you. Pizzas were awesome and there was no absence of toppings! Good job! I am so impressed. The delivery gentleman was amazing too! He is so kind and wonderful. “Absolutely loved the Pho. My first experience with this and I ordered take out. The broth is heavenly, there is a hint of sweetness but absolutely not in a bad way. I ordered chicken and rice noodle pho it came with, if I remember correctly; lettuce(or cabbage shredded), green onion, red onion, basil (I think sweet), parsley/coriander, hot chili sauce, housing sauce, rice noodles, a generous helping of broth, there may have also been shallots and a few other flavors that blended so well together. I started with just enough broth to cover the noodles and half a pack each of the hot chili sauce and poison sauce. I ended up adding the entire package of both and it was perfect. I ended up with broth left over to sip at. I cannot say enough good things about this meal, the flavors of everything married so well together. I will definitely be returning ☺️ next time I'll grab a few pictures of the food”
