“Food was delicious. Service was great until the end when it came time to pay. The server was run off her feet. There should have been someone else on to relieve her when she got so busy. Area where we sat was extremely dark in the middle of the day so that took away from the experience a bit. Also the server and the menu should state the shape of the gluten free pasta. I ordered gluten free fettucini but they brought out some weird shape pasta.“

Having visited three times, I’ve noticed that some servers come across as dismissive and judgmental. When I requested a refill on the all-you-can-eat soup, salad, and hot bread, I was asked, “Are you sure you want more?” What concerns me most is the difference in how the same server appears to interact with customers of different backgrounds. I’ve observed noticeably warmer and more welcoming service toward other customers, which raises concerns about whether all guests are being treated equally.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures every customer feels equally welcomed, respected, and valued, regardless of their background.“

“We stopped here by accident on our way from Kingston to Hamilton on Thanksgiving day, and we’re so glad we did! It’s not fine dining, but we absolutely loved the place. The atmosphere was worth even more than the price of the food. All four of us had a wonderful time! ❤“

“Went to Quick Flame for a late lunch, absolutely enjoyed it. Jody our server was awesome, very friendly and attentive. I have been craving a club sandwich and ordered the Classic Club, it didn't disappoint, was truly delicious and my sweet potato fries were excellent. My husband had trouble deciding as there are so many good things on the menu, but he chose the French Dip and loved it, had a side of the homestyle gravy to go with his fries and he was happy. Next I want to try the Cobb Salad or the Philly Melt.....the list goes on. We have been searching for a place to call ours as our old place had to close down and we have found it. Love the bar area and big TVs, wish they were open longer as we would love to come for pay for view sports like MMA fights, would be perfect, but the atmosphere is so nice there and your serving staff are a class above. Thank you! We will be back.“

“I had dinner at Red Lobster 🦞 Oshawa location and it was absolutely delicious, great service and price was very reasonable with great portions. It was so nice to have dinner and not be disappointed w the food, price and service. Fish and chips haddock Wednesdays for $17.“

“First time going to this Harvey’s and let me tell you, it’s been about 5 years since I’ve been to one and it did not disappoint. Had two bacon and ketchup hot dogs and saved the other fries for my dad. The people there were really nice to give me a bag to go but on top of that they added napkins in there and I didn’t think of that so fantastic above and beyond service here. If you’re looking for a Canadian classic place to eat, this is definitely a stop you should consider. Also love smelling the grilled burgers in there, yum!“

“The food always good. Service also good. Except for no matter how often you go in no one seems to remember you, smile or say hello. Is it because they are too busy? Or short staffed or just not happy working there. No matter we will always go

“Burger was very good, loved the choices of toppings, frings were good (especially the onion rings) and it was quiet... for the most part (being located at King St and Park Rd, lots of traffic) The mini donuts were particularly good! Should have gotten 8 instead of 4... next time“

“We had a great dinner! We started with the spinach dip, and it was absolutely delicious. I was also so impressed by the children’s menu—it had some lovely healthy options. Our son loved the mac and cheese with vegetables! Linda made our meal even better with her warm, friendly, and cheerful service. We felt so welcome and can’t wait to come back!“

“I have a permanent disability, and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. Our waitress was named Sarah and she provided our table with excellent service. She took all our orders properly, and had the food served so quick, considering we were a larger group. My 3 children were quite loud, and yet our server was extremely patient and tolerant of my noisy kids. Most waitresses would never be so tolerant. Dessert was very good also. We had a very good time and a delicious meal. We will return next year.“
