“Went there for Sunday lunch. Staff was nice and food cam pretty quickly. Had shashuka, peameal egg Benedict and honey butter biscuits. Shashuka was OK, tomato sauce tasted good. Peameal egg Benedict was a bit disappointing for >$20, especially limited amount of potatoes. The dessert was nice, not dry.“

“We love this place. It has such a family atmosphere that’s probably why they’ve been in business so long. The food is amazing no matter what you order. I can’t pick one favourite. All the servers /bartenders are fast and efficient. I highly recommend Avanti’s. See you there. .“

“The food tastes amazing, fresh and homemade, and the prices cannot be beat. A big bowl of pho whenever I'm not feeling great, and lemongrass noodle every other day! Always get extra springrolls because those are delicious.“

“I love going to Osaka! The prices can be a bit steep, but the food is always delicious and worth it. I usually go for the all-you-can-eat option—no matter how light I try to eat, I somehow end up spending close to $50 for just myself, so the $34 dinner deal makes more sense.
The staff—especially the lady and the gentleman behind the counter—are always super friendly and great to chat with. My go-to dishes are the Avocado Hand Roll and their “Out of Control Roll,” both of which are consistently fresh and flavorful.
The location is also super convenient, right near the bus stop at Simcoe and Bond. The only odd thing is that my bill often ends up about $10 more than I expect, even when I just order water—so double-check your totals.
Overall, though, Osaka is still one of my favorite spots in town for sushi!“

“We decided to try out Rougezilla tonight, and it did not disappoint! For appetizers we had dynamite shrimp and calamari, both phenomenal! I had the classic bacon and cheese and my partner just had the classic burgers on charcoal buns. They were the best burgers we have ever had! Highly recommended!!“

“We visited Freshii in Oshawa on Ritson Road as a family of four and had a great experience. We ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl, Buddha Bowl, Oaxaca Bowl, Tex Mex Bowl, and Chipotle Bowl. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The quality of the food was excellent, and we all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant itself is very clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are also very affordable, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, a wonderful visit — highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty and healthy options in Oshawa.“

“Food is very good, timing of meals with a larger party was not ideal, everyone got served at different times, food and beverages.Iit was good food, the broths were very tasty and I would say very decent portions of wontons and meats for the dishes, noodles and stir-fry. Server was very polite, but very quiet, at certain times was difficult to hear over background noises. Was very clean, but decor was out of place, and Atmosphere was just off, not bad at all, but not fitting.“

“Very nice clean restaurant with good parking available. The service was great and very polite. The food was great! It's fresh, and the vegetables are done just right. The fried rice is nice and fluffy, with no clumps in it. I love egg foo Yung, and theirs is delicious. The chicken balls are full of chicken, not just a tiny little piece with a lot of batter like some places give you now. Overall, good food and I would highly recommend it.“
