“Can only speak for the coffee. Solid choices for bean aficionados as they do a rotation of their espresso beans. Good vibes but the first couple experiences were slightly mediocre in what quality I got out of the cortados. Could have been the barista or the beans that week weren’t to my taste.“

“I’ve been coming here at least 1-2 times a week, and I can easily say they have the best, most fresh, and most reasonably-priced sushi in Ottawa! The owners are very nice and welcoming, they always greet every customer with a smile. ?I got the platters for a birthday party, which were a hit with the guests.I’ve never seen salmon and tuna this fresh in Ottawa. I usually go for the specialty rolls or tacos. “Cute little cafe, great coffee. I always get a latte and it's always good. The inside is usually pretty full when I've been and it's a bit dark inside but has a unique atmosphere since it's in an old industrial kind of building. They also have a few outdoor tables which is nice. I've always walked or biked here but there is street parking and a small parking lot too.“

Excellent espresso, delicious and unique lattes, and a fantastic selection of food and alcohol provisions. But the menu item that reigns above all is the Dad Bod sandwich. Someday, I will paint all the doors to my home red, in the hopes that I too could capture the magic of the Dad Bod sandwich and Red Door coffee myself.“

“Before it was sold and resold to different owners, Bridgehead used to be mich better as a local chain — bigger tea selection, more treats, fresh bread, soup, etc — but it's still not bad, and one of the few cafés that does loose-leaf tea in pots properly.

This particular location is outside of the central government/business area in the Wellington Village restaurant district. It's a bit run-down, but cozy and popular. I think of it as the neighbourhood's communal living room.“

This may seem like an odd thing to say, but it was really great that they made sure they rented an accessible portable washroom for their large market event. As I was sporting crutches (I recently broke my ankle), it was a total life saver that I didn’t need to take the stairs! Not sure if the port-a-potty is an “always” thing, but just the fact that they had it for their street market when so many folks wouldn’t even think of it made me grateful. Thank you for being the loveliest hosts! I’m not a coffee or tea drinker, but I’ll certainly tell all my friends about how kind the staff were!“

You don't get the bougie experience of being too cool for school, nor the try-hard hipster vibe—just a beautiful balance of comfort and energy. Lately I've found Tim Hortons has lost their customer service and quality but not at this location especially with Tayaba's polite and friendly demeanor. “A secret coffee shop under a church. Beautiful spot. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet. Nice place to hide, study, read. I loved the furniture and the big open space.

While we were there, a wedding was taking place in the church overhead. So we heard organ music and people walking down the aisle.

They sell a few pastries. We didn't have lunch while there, and I'd be curious to go back and try it. They also sell roseries and other catholic doodads.“

I ordered the Cherry Cute Matcha and the Oo-babe croffle, and both were presented stunningly! The Cherry Cute Matcha is decorated with small flower petals, which emits a pleasing smell while you drink it. The Oo-babe croffle was great as well, and not too sweet for the tooth.

“Recommended by our B&B Australis House, we had an excellent meal here with our two grandsons. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The selection is large enough that children and adults can select great meals. Our server was amazing with our grandsons aged 9 and 11, suggesting options that they truly enjoyed.“

I got an iced caramel macchiato for about $7. Decently big cup and excellent flavor. The place is very small but completely empty at 5pm on a Friday. There are a couple tables, comfy chairs, and some older tasteful music playing, as well as fast free wifi. It's connected to the other shops in the building, and they'll bring you your drink wherever you go. I only had to wait a minute or two for my drink. The staff was very polite and the place had an overall safe and welcoming environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pricey drink and a moment alone.“
