“I decided to try some where new for lunch yesterday and came to some coffee and some tea due to my fiancées recommendation. I went right around noon and there were barely and people so my wait time was very short. The menu had a large variety of options and it will definitely require multiple trips to try everything that I want to. I decided to go with the oolong matcha latte and it did not disappoint. The taste of matcha was little but it was enough to make and complement the oolong and latte. I would have loved to try their food but I unfortunately did not have time since I got a bit lost trying to find the store. The store is on the second floor right above 300 and right next to jinsei ramen. The other thing that was a bit unfortunate was that there were very little table seats near the store. There are plenty of places to sit but nowhere where you can set your drink/food down and relax with a friend. Overall with the decent prices and the large variety of drink options I will definitely be coming again

“I’ve been coming here at least 1-2 times a week, and I can easily say they have the best, most fresh, and most reasonably-priced sushi in Ottawa! The owners are very nice and welcoming, they always greet every customer with a smile. ?I got the platters for a birthday party, which were a hit with the guests.I’ve never seen salmon and tuna this fresh in Ottawa. I usually go for the specialty rolls or tacos. I love the variety of the menu and how filled the tacos are.Highly recommend using their Google form to order since it’s quick, easy to use, and has all the menu items on there.“

While Ottawa has an increasingly large list of quality, independent coffee establishments, they pale in comparison to this shop.

The coffee is the focus, and while you can’t get a venti Frappuccino with extra caramel made by a staff who isn’t allowed to go on strike due to the need to increase shareholder value, you can get quality coffee, made with quality beans, made by Canadian roasters, made by wonderfully knowledgeable staff who clearly enjoy their work. It’s the best parts of the coffee culture of Australia, but nestled on the main strip of Westboro.

These staff are, without a doubt, some of the best in the city. Not only are they warm, not only are they as happy to serve you a drip coffee with milk and sugar as a pour over, but they must have been hand picked from an improv troupe - but like, not an insufferable one - because their ability to riff is elite. Even if the coffee was terrible - which it isn’t - it would be worth coming back just for the vibes alone.

Coffee? Amazing.
Staff? Amazing.
Atmosphere? Amazing.
Music selection? Especially amazing.
Food? Amazing. (Try the avocado toast with egg - to die for)

We should celebrate that we in Ottawa can have a spot like this to grab a cup, a treat, and a joke. Truly an amazing accomplishment in a city that is more interested in giving our tax dollars to billionaires than doing anything to help small business owners.

“Stopped by The EveryPerson Cafe yesterday afternoon for a tea break and really enjoyed it. I ordered a matcha and a green tea—both were well prepared and refreshing. The space feels modern and bright, quite different from the traditional downtown cafés. I also like that it opens later and stays open until 10pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, with a bar offering cocktails and beers for events. A nice spot with a unique vibe. I’ll be back.“

I liked the calm environment, staff were all very polite and helped me find what I wanted to drink.
I ate a vegan steak wrap, it was okay but I wished it had more flavor.
Unfortunately my organic Chai tea tasted very watered down or something. Just tasted of hot water.
*I did try 1 date square and it tasted great and hasn't heavy on the sugar, which I loved.

*I would like to see more gluten free/vegan options on their menu in the future.

Cafe Delice is my new favorite escape from reality — partly because of the amazing coffee, and partly because the baristas look like they walked out of a fashion magazine. Two beautiful ladies behind the bar? Check. A handsome barista with charm and latte art skills? Double check.

I came in for a cappuccino and left with a full heart and slightly unrealistic romantic expectations.

The vibe is cozy, the espresso is smooth, and the staff could easily start a modeling agency on the side. 10/10 would let them judge my coffee order again.“

My wife and I got a specialty latte with tahini, which was very good. We also got a nice couple of pastries.

The two baristas behind the counter were very helpful and friendly, and their service was above and beyond for such an interaction.

Although I do wish they would enforce the rule they have posted about patrons not taking Zoom calls. It is very disturbing when the odd person decides that their comfort is more important than everyone else’s in the cafe and that they should be allowed to break the “no Zoom calls rule.” I understand that it maybe uncomfortable for the employees to have to confront these entitled people, but it may be necessary for the sake of all of the customers who are respectful and mindful of the space.“
