“This is an great place located in downtown Ottawa. Patty's Pub has good food and good service. Our fish and chips were rather thin and I suggest to get the two piece. The nacho's were over done as you can see by the photos. Service was good with our wait staff overly busy unfortunately. The decor of the restaurant could use an upgrade. Overall it's a good place to have a quick bite and a good beer.“

“The Nostalgica Burger was tasty. The beef patty had a nice charred texture that paired well with the roasted bell peppers. However, it could use a bit more salt and pepper in the patty. The sweet potato fries were delicious and could be enjoyed as a snack on their own. Overall, I had a great experience.“

“Good size portion for price. I went here for dinner because almost nothing is open on campus during summer. Glad I did tho because for $9.50 I got a large plate of chicken masala with basmati rice which I only ate half of, and I was served almost immediately, so it is very convenient if you're in a hurry. Some tables were taken when I was there at 5pm, but several were available. Tables were clean and staff were friendly and courteous. Will be back.“

“Stopped in for a mid-week lunch with a large group. Food was a little slow with the large group, but service was friendly and attentive.

“My friends and I stopped in to replenish after a long day a Christmas shopping, and let me tell ya, this was the perfect spot to sit down and relax. The food and drinks were great, but the service was even better. Sophia was incredibly friendly as well as knowledgeable about the beer, which is impressive considering there is roughly 60 on tap! The rest of the staff also said bye to us as we were leaving, nice host as well. Great spot, would recommend.“

“Great place for a date or rendezvous with friends, if you like excessive noise. Imcredible selection of games, however 3 we played were incomplete or broken. Service was good, very game knowledgeable staff but drink delivery was slow... food was very ordinary.“

“I like taking my daughter to the Barley Mow (stittsville is our go to but almonte is a favorite drive)... We went tonight. Dinner for 2 plus 2 non alcoholic drinks (I was driving us) came to $44 taxes in. We go there all the time so I gave a nice tip. The owner/manager and staff are amazing. And the new menu *(after covid limited menu) is really fantastic. We are trying something new every time. Tonight I tried chicken tacos and she had a huge bowl of poutine. Both were amazing. Deffo recommended! (Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the dishes, my phone was near dead and I needed it to pay as I forgot my purse but they then charged my phone for me!!)“

“Great atmosphere, sat outside on their patio. Food was delicious - pizza Classico (minus the green olives) and requested a side salad that was very good. I would order my own pizza next time vs sharing!! Friendly, fun server. Be sure to go inside - it’s something to see!“

“As far as university pubs go, Ollie’s is a fantastic place to be. They have certain deals every day of the week, and the staff are always super friendly.As far as prices go, everything is more on the pricy side, especially as a university pub. They have a wide selection of beer, varying from on tap, cans, and bottles.The pub also has a specialty cocktail of the month (I’m yet to try any) but they all sound delicious. Will definitely be heading back.“

“Pleasant to sit on the floating dock and to choose to sit in the shade under a tent or to sit directly in the sun. Portions were quite generous and offered pretty standard pub fare on the menu. I really enjoyed the chicken panini. Wait staff was super friendly and even was willing to help me with practicing my French. Greatly appreciated! I'll be back. Nice casual spot to spend some time!

Minor comment - the shrubs on the way down to the parking could use a trim as there's not room for two cars anymore but I do love how the bottom half of the driveway is in much better! Parking fees weren't so bad for 90 minutes.“
