“Update: they invited us back to make up for the experience and I would like to say it was very pleasant, the servers had been very attentive. They also took all the precautions necessary to assure no cross contamination or allergens ended up in my boyfriend’s food. I appreciate State and Main Pickering for trying to rectify the situation and we have both decided that this is a restaurant we want to continue to come to! Thank you again.

Booked a reservation for Valentine’s Day and was unfortunately very disappointed. Messed up my boyfriend’s meal 3 times (allergens) which made me finish my meal before his even came.. They sat us in a dark corner where no body else was and the servers only came and check on us once or twice. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 drinks which never came.
Given it was Valentine’s Day and an “expensive” meal out I would’ve liked to have not felt brushed off.
With that being said the food was good once they got right“

“Had a great time! The girls were pretty and super friendly, same with the waitresses. Went to the back for a couple sexy time dances, well worth it. The crowd was lame during the stage shows is about my only complaint. Beers were relatively cheap.“

“We had the best night thanks to Elia. We were so glad we chose to dine in the bar area. Wow ! she was amazing . It was a super busy Friday night and she took on the dinner rush like a pro. Taking care of all the bar drinks with the servers and the tables in the bar section as well. We really enjoyed the food it was hot and really tasty. The level of customer service was so appreciated. Our garlic bread starter got missed and she apologized and made sure to make it right by getting it for us right away. To top it off she got our dessert covered dessert which was really unexpected. Thanks for such a great dining experience. We will be back.“

Vegetarian options: So two of our friends were vegetarian and so am I. There were many options. I chose spinach dip and another friend quesadillas which were really nice“

“The best wings in Durham!

I've been coming here for over 25yrs. Last night I brought my Mother & Son for Thanksgiving dinner, and I will say it was one of the only times I've ever had an issue. There was an error in the system and we got bypassed after ordering our food. When the error was detected Mike the head bartender explained the issue in detail, and the owner took the time to apologize to us while graciously offering us a gift.

This establishment is first class from the top all the way down to the staff. They regularly have customer appreciation events during Thanksgiving & Canada Day, etc to give back to the customer, and as I said the wings are bar none the best in Durham! I will be a loyal customer for life...
