“Came to Gyumono. The atmosphere was great and service was top notch. From entering Andy was very attentive and made sure we felt welcome. My mom had a walker and he took care of it by putting it out of the way, and when she needed it brought it for her. The food was really good too and I definitely ate a lot. The only thing I would say is that the beef tongue was a little to small and cut super thin. Usually beef tongue is my favorite but for here it's not bad. The other cuts of meat on the menu were all really good and it was my birthday and the staff sang happy birthday too. A great way to end the meal. Would definitely come again.“

“Always love the food at Makimono and this location is exceptionally good. We don’t usually do the all you can eat. We enjoy ordering 5 or six things off the menu and sharing. Every dish was exceptional, played perfectly and the temp was just right. Did I mention delisious. Probably the best General Tso’s Chicken I have had ever! Staff are super friendly and attentive to service.“

“I have been meaning to try this place for years, due to a friend telling me about it. The food is quality, and you can see the care in the presentation. To eat the fresh onigiri for lunch is very delightful, soft rice pillow of savoury. The popular one is the beef sukiyaki, but I was very delighted by the salmon one. Friday and Saturday get very busy, so advise planning ahead and ordering ahead for take out. Perfect for quiet lunch.“

“Amazing sushi! The fish was fresh, the rolls were creative, and the presentation was beautiful. Service was friendly and quick, and the ambiance was clean and relaxing. Highly recommend the Toronto Roll and the chef’s special burnt Salmon. Will definitely be coming back!“

“I’ve been coming here for lunch for over a year now and what stands out the most is the excellent service. The workers are very polite and communicative. As for the food, they have cheap specials, I wouldn’t say it tastes amazing but you can’t go wrong if you want pretty good sushi at a decent price“

Edo Japan caught my attention so I tried their Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and it was really good, better than I expected! It was freshly cooked to order and had really nice flavours with generous portions. The bento box meal also included California rolls, gyoza, and a drink. Great deal, good food! I'll be back!“
