“Today I ventured into Port Dover to satisfy my craving for some fish and chips. Located on the corner of Main St and Nelson St is Murphy's Chip Wagon(501 Main St Port Dover). I got the pleasure of meeting Ashley Van Hee and her husband, it was a pleasure meeting both of you. Open 11am-7pm EVERYDAY(WEATHER PERMITTING) ***CASH and E-TRANSFER ONLY***
Today I kept it simple. I got the fish & chips but had my fries upgraded to a poutine. This fish (basa a fresh white fish mild in flavour)is so light and flaky inside with a perfectly cooked crispy golden brown batter on the outside(chefs kiss). Locally sourced potatoes from a farm just outside of Simcoe (can't get any fresher then that). hand cut and cooked right on site. Topped with a generous amount of shredded cheese and enough gravy that every fry was coated.
The coleslaw might as well be called cabbage salad. They keep it simple, they shred the cabbage right on site and make their slaw sauce from scratch. The simple ingredients make this coleslaw a perfect complement to the whole dish.
The house made tartar sauce is a winner. My next visit I'm going to get 4 containers. While 1 is enough for the dish. I now want my fish wo wear a tartar sauce blanket. I licked the container clean.

“Excellent pizzas in the town. I ordered their new handcrafted pizza( cheddar bacon ranch and fajita chicken ) and i loved it. I suggest everyone to try their new handcrafted pizzas. It comes with different style and crust and topped with good amount of toppings.Apart from food i also liked the excellent customer service.

“I had the most amazing experience on the lunar eclipse day at Port Dover, watching the cashier and the server ( same person), handling hoardes of crowds waiting to order, and take away the same with compassion and professionalism and ease. She was neither frazzled nor irritable with everyone wanting their orders first. She had time to ask each person how they were, with a smile. She kept my order with her as the full eclipse was approaching, and I had to immediately leave without taking my food. I came back after an hour, and there she was, ready with my packet. She said she was worried for me! I think her name was Jenny or Janice! I wish there were more people like her in every shop!“

“There Pizza always stands up to its name. Very fresh with great amount of toppings.
Not much else to say except you have to give it a try.
The prices are a bit higher than most. However the quality is there.
Now they have deals most of the time.
