“We have tried many Chinese BBQ places in the GTA. This small take out place is great, with excellent BBQ pork (less fat than other places, which we appreciate). Prices are a bit little higher but worth it. No wonder there are line ups. We added a side order of ginger green onion sauce for $5, very tasty! The 2 ladies behind the counter today are lovely. They take great care to prepare all orders, thank you! Will be back to try BBQ duck, roast pork and curry chicken. We don’t live in the area, but worth the drive to Richmond Hill ♥️?♥️??“

“Visited Chingu after having a big craving for Korean food and was looking for something local and nothing too fancy like a lot of the new restaurants that have popped up. The food here was so tasty, reasonably priced and the service was the best part. I believe it is a mother/son duo and they are both so lovely, attentive and warm. You truly feel like your food is being prepared by a family. Like I mentioned it might not be a fancy restaurant but the way you feel cannot be replicated by any of the newer/ more expensive restaurants popping up. I hope Chingu stays in the community for a long long time! ?
Ps. we’ve already been twice in two weeks hehe

“I only dare to make a conclusion after eating it many times. I only eat roasted duck here, which is pure Cantonese style. The price keeps up with the taste and quantity. I emphasize that the service is not the highlight here, because it does not require tips when dining in. Personal opinion: For those who say that the boss’s service is not good, please ask yourself, do you owe the tip? With the current per capita consumption of more than ten or twenty yuan, what kind of services do you want to provide? I often bring my family and friends here when I have time, and I only remember the roasted duck. 😄“
“Had 2 Dudes BBQ cater my wedding rehearsal dinner for 20+ people and the food was AMAZING. Our friends and family loved it. Ordered multiple meats and sides and they did not disappoint! Everything was very fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend their food!“

“A small but busy place for Korean fried chicken, stone pot rice and pork cutlet😊 The stone pot rice with beef $23 is our favorite, the beef is so tender and tasty😋 No 2 on the menu us the one with eggplant at $19, a little spicy though. The pork cutlet king $23 is huge with 3 big pieces which feed three people. Their fried chicken is juicy and flavorful as well. We always order the 7 pieces with green onion, very consistent and solid every time. The space is very small, can fit in 8-9 tables, so get there early to avoid line up. The atmosphere is like small bar, with open kitchen, very welcoming and upscale. The service is ok, can be better. Overall, it is a solid Korean restaurant, with limited menu choices, but consistent, tasty items that they offer.“

“Food was tasty. I would recommend it but you would have to be able to eat spicy. Though the food looked super spicy, it actually wasn’t. But this sort of spicy will linger a bit in your mouth. Service wasn’t the best. We had our own room but weren’t checked on enough unless they were delivering our food. The location was hard to find. It’s on the second floor of the Time Square building in one of the corners.“

“Great spot now that they've renovated, was getting run down before. We came for dim sum 15 minutes before the cut off to order and the service was really lacking. It seemed most of the staff were sitting down and eating. We had to get up multiple times to ask for things. Food was good as always and well worth the price.“
