“I ordered via Uber Eats. The curry shrimp roti was delicious, but I was given an overload of potatoes and a little bit of shrimp. The spicy patty was delicious; however, I wasn’t a fan of the coconut bread. The food came hot, but I was disappointed they forgot to place utensils in with my order. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would order again.“

“Really great authentic tasting Jamaican food. One of the greatest things about Kitchen King is that the quality and consistency is spot on each and everytime. For me this was the best find in years for Good Jamaican food and also costumer service is good too for a change.“

Food was incredible and fairly priced, 5/5. Tried the jerk chicken and oxtail, both were absolutely amazing. Oxtail was fall off the bone. Jerk chicken was juicy and deeply flavourful - the best jerk chicken I’ve tried so far. Rice had nicely soaked up the gravy, very rich and deep flavours.

Visiting however is quite inconvenient. I recommend going in the middle of the day for lunch. Have tried previously visiting closer to end of day (1 hour before closing) but they had already ran out of jerk chicken. Also, payment accepted is cash and there are no ATMs nearby.“

“Wow wow wow!! Everything a out this place deserves 5 stars. The owner greets you as you walk in with a smile and a welcomed conversation. The variety of food makes the choices difficult but I've had a few different ones. The curry chicken is absolutely amazing, colourful and a ton of flavour. The ackee and salt fish is the best I've had, and the red-pea soup is lip smacking. I would highly recommend this little gem spot if you haven't tried it yet!“

“Had lunch at Sunset Caribbean Takeout & Catering and tried out their smoked jerk chicken which came with rice and peas and side coleslaw. I really enjoyed this smoked rendition of jerk chicken and the food overall was very flavorful. Also ordered a beverage which included pineapple, coconut, and flaxseed which was also very tasty. If you are in Scarborough, the East of Toronto, make sure to check out this take out restaurant. They are open 12-8 pm Mon-Fri, 8-8pm Sat. They have lunch specials on weekdays and have recently introduced breakfast Caribbean style on Saturdays too.“
