“My girlfriend and I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was polite and accommodating, and the service was excellent. I ordered the rare beef soup, and she initially chose the seafood soup, but later decided she wasn’t in the mood for it. The staff kindly replaced it with the same beef soup I had, which she ended up enjoying.

The shrimp roll we shared was delicious, and when it came time to pay, we were pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge us for the returned seafood soup. I mentioned leaving a Google review, and they even offered us a complimentary juice (normally $7–9).

Overall, we enjoyed the food and service and will definitely return. Pro tip: mention a Google review, and you might score a free juice too!”

“***I DO NOT RECOMMEND *** The customer service at the head office is awful. They messed up my online order and didn’t pass on the message to the store on time for a specific date cake order for my kids birthday. I ordered cakes for Oct 21 to be picked up. I went to the bakery and was told that they don’t have the cakes. I called and emailed the head office and they said they are small business and mistakes happen. That was the lamest excuse! Mistakes happen but they didn’t even try to fix the issue. Just saying “we are sorry, it happened, we are small business and mistakes happen” is not the right reply at all. If a communication didn’t happen between head office and the store, that is not customers fault. Running around, trying to find alternative solution, and buying another flavored cake was the worst experience celebrating my kids special day. I wasted my time, energy and money on finding cakes, I had to go back to the bakery on the same day at 9pm. The fact that they just wanted me to forget and let the problem go by really frustrated me. They said they tried to make it work, but I don’t think they even tried and think of customers perspective. I needed those 2 cakes on that day, and I placed the order 3 weeks in advance for a reason. I will most likely not order from them again and will pass my awful customer experience to my friends and family. Very irresponsible and unreasonable. Simply didn’t care. They ignored all my emails.”

“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier”

“Recently, I mainly went to Gaeldaeng and Baektaeng for Chinese food, but I ordered Jjajang Jjamppong with Wolyeong and the two of us ate it. Jjajm is a very basic meal, and I was worried because there was no place that made it properly, but it was so delicious. It was neat, clean, light, and very delicious. While Baekttaeng tasted like the popular kids' taste these days and Galtaeng tasted like the best restaurant in the neighborhood, Taotao was the most Korean, a little more luxurious, and very light and delicious. Berry was good.

The waiting time was a bit long, I think it was a little over 20 minutes.”

“Got 2 100 Boxes. Was told it would take 15-20 minutes but wound up being closer to 40 minutes. Usually I wouldnt mind but underground parking is paid and outdoor parking is limited to 20 minutes. Chicken tastes amazing, thick and crunchy (yet still soft) breading with great sauce - I would eat 3 drumsticks in a heartbeat. The Cheeseling chicken had more of a cheese powder on it rather than actual proper drizzled cheese but alas, still tasted good. Kimchi was good, rice was good. One 100 Box should fill you up, decent serving size for $15.”

“I heard about this new place from a friend and had to give it a try. When I parked where Google Maps directed me, I wasn't sure if I was in the right spot ---- it's at the back of an industrial building, near some truck unloading docks.
But then I saw a sign saying "Please come in" and decided to take a leap of faith. I wasn't disappointed!
* Fried Chicken Sandwich - $7.77: I chose the honeyed soy garlic flavour. The egg brioche bun was perfectly soft and flavourful, and I appreciated how the pressed crust held everything together. The toppings were generous, and the chicken was juicy.
* Fried Chicken Poutine - $8.88 (250g, snack size): I went with the "cheezy cheese" option, and it was indeed very cheesy! They didn't skimp on the seasoning, and the poutine cheese curds had a great pull. Loved it!
* Boneless Fried Chicken - $9.99 (250g, snack size): I chose the spicy yangnyeom sauce, which had a nice kick.
Just a small note -- I'd prefer if the boneless chicken pieces were about half the size, especially as a poutine topping.
The prices are fair, and the flavours are absolutely delicious. Piping hot fried chicken takes time, so there is a slight wait, which I did not mind at all.
I'll definitely be coming back here!”

Cremini mushrooms were the definite highlight, really tempered the spice well. I get acid reflux easily due to pregnancy and I handled this well, without much discomfort. Spouse ordered yuzu shrimp and even though there were only 3 shrimp, the parm was very flavourful and offset by the yuzu in the sauce really well. Would come back to try other flavours! The radio constantly playing wasn’t my favourite, but it was a good quick dine in experience for fusion pasta.”

“We really enjoyed our time at Pho Ngon Dat Viet today. Pho broth was flavourful with good seasoning. Every dish especially the Com Tam (broken rice) dish was in big portion. I wish there were more thin-sliced beef shank and lemongrass flavour in the Bun Bo Hue but it was already really good. Staff was very nice and understanding (thank you for the lovely photo you took for us). Will definitely return and bring more friends!
Oh and my boy LOVED the strawberry smoothie! He had brain freeze as he was slurping too fast!!!”
