“Last minute dinner on New Years Eve. Pleasantly surprised with the level of food, service and decor. A very nice young lady with a Spanish accent served my wife and I, we didn’t get her name. “The food here is really excellent. A must-try is their chicken tandoori platter. It comes with three different rubs on the most tender and moist chicken. Their butter chicken is excellent along with their noodles. Who knew getting noodles at an Indian place would be so good? The restaurant itself is very basic, but the staff (mostly family, I think) is really excellent. They were warm and very welcoming. I do mostly take out, and always call in instead of using an app. They will match or beat the prices. All in all, this is a great local spot for quality food.”

“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier”

“The place is hidden, so it was a bit confusing to find at first. We got the boneless medium yangnyeom and honeyed soy garlic chicken. The chicken was really crispy and fresh, clean meat, good portion for the price. They put the sauce on a separate container, so the chicken stayed crispy when we ate it.

We tried it for the first time with our friends, and the honeyed soy garlic was our favorite. Our friends even said it was probably one of the best korean fried chicken they've had, and the kids loved it too. It will take a bit for the order to be ready, as there is only one person working there. We'll definitely come back!”

“We finally went to the burger factory in Thornhill and let me just start by saying it did not disappoint ! From the price point, to the selection and sides, everything just made sense. The burgers were so delicious and so fresh, you could just tell the quality of the meat is as promised, and not frozen like many other chain stores. As a bread lover, I thoroughly enjoyed their buns, and it had the right texture.

Moreover the owners are super friendly and they didn’t try to up-sell which is rare. In fact when I thought I need to get cheese he explained the burger already comes with the cheese slices so i didn’t have to pay more to get cheese. Their generosity was evident even with all the sides we ordered. we definitely got food for our money if not more. My husband and I also got milk shakes and it was freshly made, it didn’t have that greasy taste that you get sometimes with the fake “ice creams” where it’s just a layer of oil sitting on your palette.

Finally, as a mom I really appreciated the cleanliness of the bathroom and the changing table in the stall for privacy reasons. I will definitely be coming back and this will probably be one of my go tos! Thanks again for such a great meal!!”

I ordered the Beto Box dinner which came with 2 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of salmon each resting on a bite sized mound of rice; thin slices of teriyaki chicken over vegetables; a healthy portion of white rice; 2 spring rolls and sliced orange fruit. It was all very well prepared and had wonderful flavors.
Next time I am in Toronto, I will be paying a visit to explore the other treasures on the menu.”

We were both impressed with the quality and flavour richness. We were there early on a Friday evening, the only other customers were smoking on hookahs (we weren't bothered by it, I don't think I noticed it in the air), and perhaps having a drink. It was easy to park right in front. The restaurant is located in the corner of the outdoor strip mall, a few doors down from Subway, in the World on Yonge complex. A nice find in the neighborhood.”
