I ordered the rare beef soup, and she initially chose the seafood soup, but later decided she wasn’t in the mood for it. The staff kindly replaced it with the same beef soup I had, which she ended up enjoying.

The shrimp roll we shared was delicious, and when it came time to pay, we were pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge us for the returned seafood soup. I mentioned leaving a Google review, and they even offered us a complimentary juice (normally $7–9).

“Sunny Dragon is not only the best Korean-Chinese restaurant, but it also perhaps is one of my all-time favourite place to go to (their yuringi is the fried chicken...yes including church's, popeyes, Korean fried chicken, Taiwanese fried chicken etc etc...it is the best.)

My family has loved this place since what, 2009? The yurungi (fried chicken), tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) are insanely good. Funny enough - they always had weak kimchi, but it seems that they changed their recipe for it in late 2024 & it is one of the best now. I have nothing food wise to pick on them other than the fact that the restaurant is quite old - so the vibe is not exactly "comfortable." but with food that good & also affordable? Lol. I love sunny D to death”

They messed up my online order and didn’t pass on the message to the store on time for a specific date cake order for my kids birthday. I ordered cakes for Oct 21 to be picked up. I went to the bakery and was told that they don’t have the cakes. I called and emailed the head office and they said they are small business and mistakes happen. That was the lamest excuse! Mistakes happen but they didn’t even try to fix the issue. Just saying “we are sorry, it happened, we are small business and mistakes happen” is not the right reply at all. If a communication didn’t happen between head office and the store, that is not customers fault. Running around, trying to find alternative solution, and buying another flavored cake was the worst experience celebrating my kids special day. I wasted my time, energy and money on finding cakes, I had to go back to the bakery on the same day at 9pm. The fact that they just wanted me to forget and let the problem go by really frustrated me. They said they tried to make it work, but I don’t think they even tried and think of customers perspective. I needed those 2 cakes on that day, and I placed the order 3 weeks in advance for a reason. I will most likely not order from them again and will pass my awful customer experience to my friends and family. Very irresponsible and unreasonable. Simply didn’t care. They ignored all my emails.”

It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier”

“I heard about this new place from a friend and had to give it a try. When I parked where Google Maps directed me, I wasn't sure if I was in the right spot ---- it's at the back of an industrial building, near some truck unloading docks.
But then I saw a sign saying "Please come in" and decided to take a leap of faith. I wasn't disappointed!
* Fried Chicken Sandwich - $7.77: I chose the honeyed soy garlic flavour. The egg brioche bun was perfectly soft and flavourful, and I appreciated how the pressed crust held everything together. The toppings were generous, and the chicken was juicy.
* Fried Chicken Poutine - $8.88 (250g, snack size): I went with the "cheezy cheese" option, and it was indeed very cheesy! They didn't skimp on the seasoning, and the poutine cheese curds had a great pull. Loved it!
* Boneless Fried Chicken - $9.99 (250g, snack size): I chose the spicy yangnyeom sauce, which had a nice kick.
Just a small note -- I'd prefer if the boneless chicken pieces were about half the size, especially as a poutine topping.
The prices are fair, and the flavours are absolutely delicious. Piping hot fried chicken takes time, so there is a slight wait, which I did not mind at all.

“Tried this little pasta takeout spot the other day — flavor-wise, it was kinda unique, I’ll give them that. The pasta itself though… a bit on the al dente-but-maybe-too-dente side. And I wish they were a little more generous with the sauce — it felt like it stopped halfway through the bowl.

I got it as takeout, and for a quick meal, it’s honestly not bad. Not mind-blowing, but decent enough. The price? Around $17 for a pasta — not exactly cheap, but not outrageous either. Let’s call it average for a takeout joint in the city.

The shop is tiny — there are a few seats inside, but it’s definitely more of a grab-and-go type of place than somewhere you’d hang out with friends over a long dinner. Think “efficient bite, then bounce.”

All in all, I’d give it a solid 3.5 out of 5. Might come back to try a different sauce and see if it changes the game. Worth giving it one more shot!”

The food was overall good, definitely recommend the Cajun dry rub wings, it was really nice, fresh and crispy. I don’t really recommend the nachos though, we ordered chicken nachos and the portion was really small with very few pieces of chicken, for the price I don’t think it’s worth it. Also don’t recommend fish and chips even though it tasted good. The fish portion was way too small (you could finished it in 2 bites).
They also don’t have any mocktails options which I would expect a bar to have for those who don’t drink or can’t drink.
The service was good but a bit slow, only 2 servers (1 on the floor and 1 at the bar) at the time, but this could be because we came on a weekday, not sure about the weekend.”
