“I would like to recommend Victoria K Cakes to anyone looking for theme cakes for a celebration! My family has been ordering cakes from them for the last 5 years and they are always gorgeous. I have included a picture for my daughter’s 21st birthday party and it was a big hit! We chose strawberry shortcake filling and it was delicious. 😋“

“Had the chance to try this bakery’s most popular cake. It’s called the Ovaltine Crispy Chiffon Cake. It was light, fluffy and not too sweet. The Rosemary decorations when eaten with the cake, adds another dimension to the taste.
This was purchased by someone in the party I attended recently. I noticed, I was not the only one that enjoyed the cake. Apparently, it was purchased from a bakery where the food court is located.
The owner was quite friendly as I inquired about the bakery. Price $25 as per the bakery’s website. They even provided 1 candle with the cake. Not sure if it was included in the price or not.

“My family really enjoyed the cake from Vava. The decoration was perfect, exactly like the picture and even more impressive in appearance in person.

We opted for the special, a Peaches & Cream twist, which artfully combined Ontario peach and sweet cream flavors. We also indulged in the Matcha soft serve. Both choices were exquisite and demonstrated a clear commitment to quality ingredients. The matcha was a standout, presenting a distinct and authentic flavor that balanced beautifully with the soft serve's inherent sweetness. Similarly, the Peaches & Cream was a triumph, its vibrant fruit notes instantly recalling the simple pleasure of eating a perfectly ripe, juicy peach. 10/10 would eat again.“

I went in to pickup some sugar cookies for my toddlers play date - however the lady made a better recommendation and I couldn’t have been happier.

My toddler was so fascinated with everything in the store- she offered him an Oreo cookie to distract him while I was able to make my selection.

The cookies were amazing and such a hit with all the kids. I would definitely recommend and I look forward to my next visit.“

They were okay overall; however, the menu states they have whipped cream but what you get is more of an artificial cool whip tasting topping. Think Tim Hortons “whipped cream”, which is so artificial it barely melts in your hot drink. It was a bit of an unhappy surprise.“

“Found this little dessert spot while grocery shopping nearby , just a random pick from Google Maps, but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise!

Maybe it was because I happened to miss my Cantonese friend that day… especially her dad’s homemade ginger milk pudding. So when I saw this place, I thought, why not?

We shared a bowl of red bean double-skim milk, perfectly balanced sweetness and creaminess, with plenty of red beans. You can order it hot or cold; we went for the hot one, and it was wonderfully comforting.

I took a look at their menu, and found there were so many tempting options! Also spotted on SwingBy that they have a great deal: 2 boxes for $10.

Good thing I live downtown, or I’d be here way too often 😆. Trying to cut back on sweets lately, but this one was absolutely worth it.“

“This is located in the back of the downsview merchants market alongside other restaurants. They always have a fantastic variety of cakes, cheesecakes, and cookie brownies that they bake fresh during the day. They also have 8 different flavours of ice cream at any given time and a slushy machine.
Service is always exceptional and they are happy to explain everything they have in their cases.
In addition to the enormous variety of baked goods, they also offer funnel cakes, waffles, bubble waffles, and crepes.
You can tell the bakers are very passionate about what they make. The portions are huge (cakes barely fit into their containers) and prices are great.
I have tried most of their offerings (they're always trying new recipes) and have enjoyed them all.
Unfortunately this location is only open on weekends but on weekdays you can find them in Caledon.“

They have fresh ice cream, Vietnamese yogurt - which is absolutely delicious and creamy - the black rice one is my absolutely favourite!
A small selection of pastries and street food style snacks as well. This was my first time here and I grabbed a bit of everything.
The girl serving me (pink hair) was so sweet and friendly. Will definitely come back here to stock up on my Vietnamese snack cravings.

“Gianfranco is an awesome person and chef, took the time explaining the whole process to me over the phone and told me this was authentic Italian Tiramisu unlike the modified version who cheap out on ingredients. Tasted amazing, mine was fresh so cutting it was hard to get a perfect slice for pictures ? if you want a quality Tiramisu give Nonna's House Tiramisu a try. I went for the classic, can't go wrong with that choice!Update:After putting it in the freezer it's much easier to cut it the next day and it holds up very nicely.“

Had great service from the female owner (I think it’s the owner) was great, she was friendly and provided recommendations. The masala chai for some reason reminded me of pumpkin spice! Everyone was bursting at the seams so we all had a nice walk in the wonderful neighborhood. It was night and it was cool and it was just right! The best part about JC is everything is halal and it will satisfy every sweet tooth! They also have pizzas and wings and things that I can wait to try such as their brownies and waffles!!! Take a friend! Take a relative! Take your mom take ur pop!
