“Okay this is my third coming for lunch so it's not a fluke that this place is actually good. From the sauces to the portion size. Really tough to find food that is A) healthy B) delicious & C) cost effective and this is somehow all three. I read some reviews and saying it was not tasty or too salty.... my experience was completelydifferent. Not only does the food tast amazing but I just feel amazing afterwords. Fast, healthy and delcious. I paid $12.98 after tax for the chicken sharwama plate.“

“This is one of the best Greek places I’ve been to! I ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner. The chicken was seasoned so well - you could taste the lemon and oregano. It was also so tender and succulent. The homemade tkatziki? Amazing! Bursting with cucumber.The lemon potatoes melt in your mouth.On top of that, the portion was huge and the owner was so friendly. “My husband picked thus place when I suggested Greek for lunch. I ordered the chicken souvlaki in a pita and he ordered the pork gyros in a bowl with rice. The souvlaki was amazing. Moisr, tender chicken, your choice of topping and delicious tzatziki. my husband's bowl was delicious and such a big serving that he couldn't finish it. The staff were friendly and it was a pretty good deal for the food. We will be back again to try some more of your delicious food.“

“AWESOME FAMILY RESTAURANT AND VERY REASONABLE PRICE! We've been to quite a few restaurants along Danforth since it's more convenient, and we thought - why don't we go a bit farther from the major intersection and see how it goes? I'm glad we did and what a great experience at Pape Village! I'd admit we aren't too familiar with Greek cuisine so it took us a while to go over the menu and had to ask a bunch of questions. It was a busy night (even though it was early on a weeknight), but the staff was very patient in answering our questions and gave us some good ideas. Unlike some other places in the area, they didn't rush us in placing the order at all and we appreciated that very much! We started with two appetizers: taramosalata (a fish roe dip) and fried calamari. The dip was great - the typical good quality you'd expect from a decent restaurant. What really surprised us was the fried calamari - it was perfectly deep fried with thin batter, and the squid was so tender :) Then, we ran into a "challenge" - we were sort of half full by that time, and judging by the food portion from other guests, we decided to order just one main course to share. It turns out to be a great decision as the main course was HUGE!!! We wanted to order the Kontosouvli Pork, but it's only available during weekend thus we ordered Pork Souvlaki instead. The pork was nicely grilled - super tender and juicy. Given the high food quality and excellent services, the price was more than reasonable. We'll definitely visit again, probably during weekend in order to try the Kontosouvli Pork :)“

We were quickly seated, no wait time, and practically immediately started getting served despite the fact that the restaurant was full and busy. The waiter serving us was super friendly and polite, constantly coming up to ask how we're doing and if we needed anything. Customer service of this level is really rare these days, so it feels good to compliment ?. The food choices were great. Tasted well, but not as intense in flavor for our liking. “We stopped here for lunch …. First time . I had chicken souvlaki in a pita it was served loaded with fresh vegetables and a generous amount of chicken in the most delicious pita bread I have ever eaten( homemade?) my husband had the chicken souvlaki dinner it was also very generous , we could not finish . The cook also brought us each a bowl of lentil soup to try and it was delicious! When we were there only one gentleman was working you placed your order then sat down and he brought to your table . Very casual dining .“

“Great Greek restaurant with an upscale family restaurant atmosphere.For mains, we had the melitzanes imam eggplant which I thought was a healthy veg dish with excellent feta flavour. We also had the lamb shank which was nice but with the strong flavours of the tomato sauce and lamb it was quite rich to have by itself, would recommend rice as a side.The sides we had were average. The Horta/greens side was quite bland, and the roast vegetables were a bit overdone.If your exposure to Greek food has been from franchised restaurants this is a chance to get those flavours in a formal restaurant, really a nice concept!“

Place is busy so make reservations - i got lucky, but had i come 30 min later - likely would not get it.Prices are above average but worth every penny. I knew i would not be able to finish everything i ordered but i could not help it - both scallops and chicken breast were above the average. Sauces were with just the right touch of garlic. “I go to this place regularly since I work nearby. They have a great selection of dishes on the menu and their daily specials are definitely a great value. I go there to get fish n chips every Friday now and its become sort of a mini tradition for me. Food is always cooked on the spot so everything is always hot and fresh! “Huge portion for the price you pay. I ordered a Havarti Beef Melt ($20) with a side of fries. The sandwich was presented with both sides facing up, so I thought a little weird for a sandwich to be opened but I totally understand why... they were a hefty portion. The beef brisket was tender, and saucy, just the right amount of salt to flavour it up. It would have been better if the Havarti cheese slice (THICK!!!) was more melty. Fries were crispy and pretty thick cut. Overall if you work around this area, Mr Nick's wouldn't be a stranger to you. But definitely worth a try!“

This falafel had a slight kick to it (spicy). There are two rice options (plain turmeric and rice and lentils).
