“* Always great friendly, helpful & smiling staff, great food, excellent service & friendly atmosphere ?* Sit at the bar or at a table.* Can't beat their all day breakfast.* Reasonable prices & great food.* Lots of parking....shared with other stores, (mini mall) but more to the front side or behind as there is a side street behind.* Disability permit spot, easy ramp to get from parking lot onto sidewalk to store fronts.* Right on the corner of two main streets so it's easy to find.* Great place to stop in for breakfast, lunch, dinner or after work with friends for a drink at the bar ? ? etc. ?“
“Stayed in Niagara after a show at OLG stage and went to Chucks for lunch ... Burger was excellent ... home made quality and had a cajan chicken sandwich which my wife loved ...service was great and the prices were excellent ...$11 for a cheeseburger and fries Wow! ... try and match that these days ... especially in a tourist area ...in fact it was so good we went back after 9 for cheap beer and half price appies ... all around it was a great experience“

“Had haddock and chips and seafood platter. Everything was delicious! Fish was lightly battered and cooked to perfection. Chips were crisp and tasty. Would recommend this place. Have been hunting for a good fish place for a while and happy to have found it here!“
“So last night we'll it was more so around 7pm my husband and myself found our tummies ah Rumbling, we hadn't ate dinner. We were mobile and saw a well known Pizza shop so , that's what we decided it would be. Parked the car, and as we approached the plaza, I smelled this mouth-watering scent of fresh cut fries and succulent chicken of the sea! Union Jack Fish & Chips indefinitely beat out pizza. OK, I'll get to the point of this post, which is my opinion of the whole experience. The woman took our order and answered all the questions. We decided to take it out , but there is a long table seats, roughly 6-8 people. We ordered the Halibut platter. They also serve Cod and Haddock . The Halibut Plater includes 2 lrg pieces of halibut 3 scallops and 3 medium-sized shrimp on a bed of fresh cut fries as well a side of coleslaw and of course a lemon wedge. The order maybe took 15 minutes. The fish was absolutely delicious, cooked just right because for a seafood lover, there's nothing worse than dry overdone fish .It was nice and juicy inside, not too much batter and the taste auuhhhh Superb! The scallops are a bit small, but the sweet flavor made up for that. The shrimp was sweet and flavouful, and I found my hubby and I splitting the last one. Now the fries, I hate to say this but not that great. They were really dark color . Most were smaller than my pinky finger, and flavor tasted like burnt oil. Now we went there pretty close to closing time. When I think of how tasty everything else was, I can't imagine the fries being like that on a regular basis. With that said, I will definitely give them another try along with other seafood dishes they offer. The takeout comes packed with forks +napkins. The tartar sauces and other condiments are on the counter as a self serve , I like that because no matter whether I ask for Xtra tartar I never seem to get the amount I like. One thing I thought the platter was missing was seafood sauce for my shrimp and scallops, but that's a personal preference. With a 15% tip(takeout), our bill came to 45.00. 1 Platter split for 2 adults, and I couldn't finish my piece of fish. We have spent this price many times before. When we were done, we were looking at one another like "OK hun what's for dinner?" Nothing worse than paying for a meal, and you're left feeling hungry and unsatisfied. This was not the case here. This was almost all around 2? like I said previously, I believe because we came so close to closing time, ultimately, was the reason fries were, in my opinion, not good. I recommend trying this " catch" of a restaurant. They even offer a discount on ordering their takeout online. I'd catch that deal before it swims away.“
“Cheers is a small restaurant and bar, friendly people when you first enter. You seat yourself either on the main floor or the second floor. The atmosphere is like an old mom and pop shop if you like that kind of thing. Great service friendly staff large portions on the food.“
“Best fish and chips in Niagara Falls. Hands down. And when we go in service is always great. Get the shrimp. The halibut. The poutine………any kind!! Even the gravy is so tasty. We didn’t mean to harass you guys today sorry ? the text said it was ready and I thought maybe there was a mix up. Lol. We appreciate you guys! The orris are goooood too!!“
“I pre-ordered a large order of Fish and Chips, for my office, for Good Friday. They were very helpful when I called, and answered many of my questions. They called a few days before to make sure everything was a go and on that Friday everything was done for exactly when I asked. Those who worked there were very kind, and calm even though their phone was ringing off the hook. The fish was really tasty, chips were delicious, the coleslaw was top notch, we ordered some chicken nuggets for those who don't like fish and those were delicious as well. Would definitely recommend for anytime of the year.“
“Excellent food and serviceUpdate March 23 2004New owner have done a great job cleaning up the bar and the food was great! I hear good things are on the way. Looking forward to seeing what they can do with this location! Best of luck to them“
“Ordered a single haddock and chips. I grew up going to various fish and chip places (my dad used to run 3 prior to my birth), and I have enjoyed them many times over the years. I would agree with a few others here that it's not the best I've had (fish was a little soggy on the bottom), but overall, I would visit again if back in Thorold. I would have preferred seeing plates other than plastic, but that's just me being picky now. Very quiet place around 12:30-1 on a Friday. Meal was shy of $15.“
