“I heard that Friday July 10th was customer appreciation day. Just purchase a drink and you get a free pizza. So l finished work, and went to Pizza Pizza on Ormond St in Thorold. I was served by a friendly worker. I asked if the Apprecitated pizza was still available. He replied yes just in time. I received my delicious free pizza, and brought it to my coworkers fot dinner. They were so happy and appreciated the delicious pizza. Thank you Pizza pizza 🍕“

“Finally made it to Nolaas for lunch. It was busy , so nice to see. Yummy baked good meet you at the door and before that 3 adorable doggies . Everything was fresh and delicious. Well presented and good portions. I couldn’t help stare at the pecan French toast with whip cream going by, next time 😉 I took a few Goodies to go and ordered 5 Xmas dinners and a Yule log. If you haven’t been you must make a trip. I will be back. Thank you“

“A real hidden gem we found tonight. Wonderful people, wonderful ambience and wonderful food. We arrived later and sat at the bar. After looking over the menu we spoke to the bar staff and one of the partners Dan. After asking if the chef could be a little flexible and make a spicy tomato vegetable pasta. The chef did not disappoint. What he brought out for us was Stella! We also had the spinach focaccia which was amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in Niagara. Do yourself a favour, pay them a visit!“

We enjoyed 1) the gobbler: a vegan spin on a thanksgiving sandwich with gravy for dipping and 2) the halloumi hot honey sandwich: a vegan hot grilled halloumi cheese with pesto and tofu bacon jam with greens. Both of our dishes were excellent for taste, texture, and presentation. Thank you Heather for hosting us and answering all our menu questions. So many choices and styles of dishes here at Rise Above. “Visited this restaurant Friday July 17 at around 5:30 pm. We had the dinner buffet which was $30 a very reasonable price, all the food was amazing. From the soup, potatoes, butternut squash soup, chicken soulvaki was juicy and the dessert options were good. The owner came around to all the tables to ensure customers were happy with the service. Shout out to April she was friendly and provided us with exceptional service. Will be returning here soon.“

“ABSOLUTE ROCK STARS! Recently purchased some meat to make my first batch of sausage with. Nick went above and beyond and educated me on the different cuts of meats, what percentages to use and tips and tricks and made sure I got the best of the best. When I picked up everything Joe treated me like family and was very helpful and friendly and also gave me some more education. It's awesome to see two people take so much pride and passion in what they do and treating customers like family. Also, on my way into the store I stopped by the bakery department (like the elf I am LOL) and spoke with the bakery person who was amazing (sorry, didnt get her name, older lady with glasses-very friendly). She educated me on ALL of the sweets and baked goods, how much pride/passion they take in their in house baking goods and also the specialty items from Germany and Italy etc. WOW! Loaded with toppings, perfectly cooked crust, and great flavour in every bite. The pepperoni was generous and the extra olives made it even better.
