“Amazing chef’s tasting and attentive staff!“

“Incredible experience from start to finish. Absolutely do not skip the Peking duck. If I were on death row, I might have that duck as my last meal. Service was great, cocktails and mocktail were equally wonderful. Also the honey toast desert was lights out. Great work chef, kitchen, floor and ownership! A meal we won't forget for sure!!!“

One would never find such a place in Ottawa ong. Would recommend!

They even gave us mouthwash and offered rain coats when it was raining outside! The service is truly above and beyond!

“Good food, good vibe. Weekday lunch special for $20 is the game changer. Service is good. Taste even better. Compared to other places, little less parking spot but that's not a big deal, all over its a nice little great restaurant. We specifically surprised by how only one Cashier could handle the service + cashier job everything nicely. They have good Thai & Viet food choices and their taste also very good according to my wife who is Chinese Vietnamese. We had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for both casual and special occasions. Definitely a place I’d recommend and will be coming back to! We often go there. Good luck 👍“

“Not a big reviewer but just had to give the respect here. So so tasty, such nice people. The world needs more hearty and healthy food spots like Naomi. Skip the burger joints and franchises, get a bulgogi club for lunch or a bacon and egg for breakfast, and enjoy made to order food like it’s supposed to be.“

“No surprises here. You see what is on the menu is basically accurate from the pictures. Completely shocked. Definitely will come back here again. Usually I go next door or the one on Queen Street. I like how the pictures are very accurate from the menu and customers reviews. For that reason I am giving it a 5 stars. The soup was amazing. I finally found a place in the area isn't bad quality compared to the recent ones I have been to. I wish they gave more tofu and vegetarian options.

They try to modernize the menu here to a different kind of serving. I got dessert here and its amazing. It doesn't look cheap quality but I wished they had better options.“

“I got the chicken cutlet ramen and thoroughly enjoyed the portion for a light dinner. Came with a well cooked cutlet with a whole seasoned egg and a litany of noodles and veggies. The self order system and pay later felt great as sometimes you just get stuck in a restaurant waiting for service. I would say this is more of a four out of five on the food side, as I feel like the quality of the noodles (could honestly be confused for mr. noodles) and broth could be improved for the price. But the warm staff, plethora of toppings and free plum juice really sealed the deal that day. I'm really lucky they're around and could enjoy it. My dinner came out to a few cents above $20 with a 15% tip, so somewhat reasonable for ramen in this part of town.“

“Midnight Arcade in Kensington absolutely smashes for a nights out with friends . Think neon lights, retro-gaming benches, and a dance floor tucked up on the second level where things start to pop off every weekend 

The vibe? A mix of arcade nostalgia and club energy. You’ll walk in, play a few vintage games, grab a drink, then find yourself in the middle of a dance floor with DJs spinning R&B/EDM/hip-hop depending on the night.

“Came for the peking duck and we ordered the half for the two of us and it was delicious! The wraps are perfectly thin and the duck was delicious and crispy. We also had fried dumplings and the crispy ginger pork. All the food was delicious and service was very attentive. The lovely ladies working there made sure we had everything we needed. If you make a reservation you also get some egg tarts on the house. We left so stuffed!“

“I’ve ordered so many times since Xihe opened! The Peking duck here is amazing — crispy skin, tender meat, and authentic flavor just like in Beijing. Everything was nicely packed, and they even gave us a traditional Chinese sugar art candy, which was such a lovely surprise! Highly recommend! 🦆🍬“

“My experience at the big Bear pancake was amazing they had different kind of food and the soup is good the noodles are excellent and yeah, the other kind of food that they have was beef in rice the rice was really nice and soft the beef was very very tender and overall it was great. There are other varieties of soup and noodles and rice in meat but I have not tried that before yet but I will soon.“
