“This location is one of the last few standing (in my humble opinion) that I’d give a 4 star or higher rating to, across the board. The food was great and came out in a timely manner. “Jack Astors on Front Street has a great atmosphere and is definitely worth going to on game day for any sport. The drinks are great and reasonably priced and also there is a happy hour. The atmosphere is really welcoming, with a lot of Blue Jays banners and lights everywhere.“

We had the dry rub lemon pepper wings with onion rings, we loved it.

The food here is great, and the way they treat you is even better! I recommend eating food from here.

It is a sports bar though, so maybe don't come here for a date - but if you want to catch the game, go for it!“

We order the prime rib (medium rare) but came out bit overcooked...but still good...only reason didn't get 5 stars bc wait staff asked how we'd like it done...

“Had a good night at Teller Bar & Bistro. The beer was genuinely great, super crisp and exactly what you want after a long day. The steak was fine, not bad at all, just not particularly memorable. The gnocchi was good, really creamy and saucy in the best way.

Only thing worth noting is that the entrance was a bit confusing. It’s tucked below the hotel, so it took a minute to figure out where to go.
Overall, solid spot for drinks and a relaxed meal. I’d come back to try more of the menu.“

Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“We happened upon this restaurant by a recommendation .....omg....what a diamond of a place... enter through the front door on College Street and wander through to the amazing back patio.....the ambience is unbelievable, you are made to feel so comfortable and at home....our server was Peter who was beyond amazing....if you are looking for a place to go I definitely recommend this place......we are from Ottawa way but will be coming back...totally a 10 out of 10“

“I went here with a friend for lunch and enjoyed ourselves. The food was great, but took a very long time to come. We were waiting for over 40 minutes for two entrees when restaurant was more than half empty.
The waitress was a bit sassy and hard to flag down, but overall had a good vibe. The live music was a nice touch.“

“We came to Union Social Eatery with a big group, and Sammy-Jo was amazing. She was super organized, separated all of our bills without any issues, and still made sure everyone was taken care of.

“We stumbled upon Bar Wellington by accident, and we are so happy we did 😊great pint of beer and the food ? Wow, not your typical pub grub we had the mussels and the flavour in the broth was next level, the bugger was juicy and flavoursome and the house fries we excellent to, the place is family friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“Very friendly husband and wife run, decent people, no drug problems, friendly atmosphere though night life there can be a tad loud, don't bring the kids past dinnertime, it being Parkdale it's tamer then alot of other Establishments that serve alcohol. ? I believe you can Celibate Birthday parties, etc.. just give them a heads up on your plans, they will try to accommodate you and yours! Prices are reasonable there's plaza parking limited, Salvation Army store next door just FYI! P.S. Owners do the serving, no waiters.

Parking: A few disabled spots, closest to the west side of lot. Not sure about unreasonable time periods not having a Vehicle I do know the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small lip at doorway but Lance has a piece of wood for entering, and most of the people are quite friendly and actually get the door for wheelchair etc....“

“Random google search for a “sports bar” and this did not disappoint. Natasha was the best, the first NFL game of the season was on, it was dollar wings, and the beers were decent Ontario craft. It’s a dive bar, but for nice people. 100% would go again.“

“I had my birthday party at Skada Bar and it was fantastic! The manager Cici was so welcoming and accommodating. She decorated and organized the bar just the way I wanted and she provided food for all my guests. It was a super fun night and everyone that came told me what a great party it was. I would definitely recommend Skada Bar for parties and events!“

“Its an unashamedly 'no frills' local Portuguese pub and if you appreciate it through that lens of that you'll have a good time.No beer on draft, cash only, although people here down to earth, nice and owner/Staff are so friendly and welcoming.
