“A very cosy uptown restaurant ! I have been several times over the years and it never disappoints. Was there again last night and have to say the veal scallopini was excellent. It was a tough choice as there are so many delicious things on the menu. The friendly and excellent service, food and ambiance was perfect. A big thank you to the staff for such an enjoyable evening. Took our coats, moved us to a new table without us asking when he noticed we were uncomfortable. “This is our favourite neighborhood pub. Cozy fireplaces in the winter, back patio oasis in the summer. Front patio on nice days for brunch. We eat here whenever we are too lazy to cook or do dishes because the menu has a nice range, the food is good + reasonably priced and the vibes are low-key. They have the BEST wings (with the side of carrots & celery and the chunky proper blue cheese dressing) This place is honestly such a comfort and good for most occasions.“

“To be honest, I’m surprised how this place has only four stars. The concept, quality of food, service and overall experience has been just spot on.

I had wonderful memories at this place while partying with my friends, celebrating my birthday and just casually sitting with my wife having a wonderful dinner.

The price for a pitcher of beer is super fair, and the quality of the beef skewers is just top-notch.

Definitely will be back and from now on I’m not sure if I will be judging places by the rating.“

Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“We happened upon this restaurant by a recommendation .....omg....what a diamond of a place... enter through the front door on College Street and wander through to the amazing back patio.....the ambience is unbelievable, you are made to feel so comfortable and at home....our server was Peter who was beyond amazing....if you are looking for a place to go I definitely recommend this place......we are from Ottawa way but will be coming back...totally a 10 out of 10“

“Had a good night at Teller Bar & Bistro. The beer was genuinely great, super crisp and exactly what you want after a long day. The steak was fine, not bad at all, just not particularly memorable. The gnocchi was good, really creamy and saucy in the best way.

Only thing worth noting is that the entrance was a bit confusing. It’s tucked below the hotel, so it took a minute to figure out where to go.
Overall, solid spot for drinks and a relaxed meal. I’d come back to try more of the menu.“

The waitress was a bit sassy and hard to flag down, but overall had a good vibe. The live music was a nice touch.“

Wow, not your typical pub grub we had the mussels and the flavour in the broth was next level, the bugger was juicy and flavoursome and the house fries we excellent to, the place is family friendly. The drink selection is excellent, and the wings and fries absolutely hit the spot.

We were there to watch Heated Rivalry and the atmosphere was perfect. They even let us stay to watch one more episode.

“Very friendly husband and wife run, decent people, no drug problems, friendly atmosphere though night life there can be a tad loud, don't bring the kids past dinnertime, it being Parkdale it's tamer then alot of other Establishments that serve alcohol. ? I believe you can Celibate Birthday parties, etc.. just give them a heads up on your plans, they will try to accommodate you and yours! Prices are reasonable there's plaza parking limited, Salvation Army store next door just FYI! P.S. Owners do the serving, no waiters.

Parking: A few disabled spots, closest to the west side of lot. Not sure about unreasonable time periods not having a Vehicle I do know the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small lip at doorway but Lance has a piece of wood for entering, and most of the people are quite friendly and actually get the door for wheelchair etc....“

She decorated and organized the bar just the way I wanted and she provided food for all my guests. It was a super fun night and everyone that came told me what a great party it was. I would definitely recommend Skada Bar for parties and events!“
