The staff is absolutely wonderful and the ambiance is just perfect. The chef is absolutely amazing and has put together the most incredible and delicious menu you could ever want. “Came here on a Tuesday to celebrate my boyfriends 38th birthday. We had never been, and looked here on OpenTable for some restaurants we hadn't tried. Parquet came up and I'm so glad it did! Tucked away on the corner of Robert and harbour, this restaurant offers delicious eats, and very yummy cocktails to go with. We had, the bread with butternut squash, and some oysters so start. Both were very good, well presented. Perfect way to start. We then got the leek croquettes, and the steak tar tar. Oh my, absolutely outstanding. We were already so excited with what we got we knew the main would not disappoint. We got the short rib, accompanied but the fingerling smashed potatoes. One of the best courses I've had. The meat was fall off the bone tender, and the potatoes were light fluffy, but also so delicious. Dessert we did the panacotta, and the lemon tart which were a perfect way to finish off the meal. The service was great, our server was super attentive, and knowledgeable. He definitely elevated the night for us. We were the last table that left, but didn't feel rushed or pushed out. Will definitely be returning in the future!“

“Great French restaurant that has always been super busy so make sure to make reservations. The volume can get quite loud as you sit at bistro style tables and are close to other parties. But the food and service make up for that and it is part of the ambiance of a French restaurant.“

“We got the rack of lamb "cook it yourself" kit on Friday; with the sides it's an amazing value and made an absolutely superb dinner. There was an error in my order, (understandable at 7 pm on a Friday) but the team went the extra mile to make it right. I highly recommend their meals for takeout, and I'm really looking forward to dining in on their extended menu when the lockdown is over.“

“We were early for our reservation but were seated promptly and not made to wait, which was very nice. No fuss was made over my walker, which was a great relief. As for the impressive Menu - even on a restricted diet, suitable food was easily found, thanks to our attentive waitress. This was so helpful, please thank her for us. Our food was delivered promptly, and it looked inviting and tasted better. :) I would also like to note that the prices are very reasonable for this delightful menu. We will come again.“

“We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the ambience and attention to detail at the Broadview. It was beautifully remodeled, but still had unique historic detail and touches everywhere. Our room was perfect and included a record player and a vinyl library on our floor! I appreciate things like the well stocked mini bar and quality toiletries. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was a water shut down issue on the street that was completely out of the hotels control and they compensated us with a discount, even though it was not their fault. It had really cozy and charming Christmas vibes too! We cannot wait to go back.“

“Ngogo was one of my favorite Winterlicious lunches this season. The $27 lunch menu was incredible value and every course was genuinely delicious. The salmon tartare was a standout, and the desserts, especially the toffee pudding and white chocolate mousse, were amazing.

I’ve tried several Winterlicious lunch menus in the same price range and even higher, and this one easily came out on top. It feels underrated and deserves more attention. The space is small with a cozy mom and pop vibe, and everyone there was so warm and welcoming.“

“We were there for the 5 course chef farm to table menu, but the place seemed slammed by Winterlicious reservations that were not expected, so the service was a bit off in that that they forgot our cocktails and then also one of our courses was severely delayed. There seemed to be a misconnect between the bar, the kitchen and service which was odd since the chef's menu and timing are not really up for interpretation. The tasting menu was nice, but I'd be interested to see if what their actual menu is like if we come back. Servers and host were excellent.“

The brunch menu is solid and well executed; while gluten-free options are somewhat limited, adding gluten-free bread would make it even better. “Forgot the prices as the time we came was a big group. Despite the chaos (as we added on our order a few times), food was served promptly. Skewers was slightly on the dry end but seasoning was decent. My favourite was the tofu skewer!

Seating was comfortable and decently spacious. Staff was extremely kind and friendly - we had some popsicles with us and to avoid them melting they were willing to let us put in their freezer temporarily (and reminded us to take them when we were leaving)!“

“Had a good night at Teller Bar & Bistro. The beer was genuinely great, super crisp and exactly what you want after a long day. The steak was fine, not bad at all, just not particularly memorable. The gnocchi was good, really creamy and saucy in the best way.

Only thing worth noting is that the entrance was a bit confusing. It’s tucked below the hotel, so it took a minute to figure out where to go.
Overall, solid spot for drinks and a relaxed meal. I’d come back to try more of the menu.“

“We stumbled upon Bar Wellington by accident, and we are so happy we did 😊great pint of beer and the food ? Wow, not your typical pub grub we had the mussels and the flavour in the broth was next level, the bugger was juicy and flavoursome and the house fries we excellent to, the place is family friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“Went for the first time on a busy Saturday for brunch. Setting is unique and food was incredible. We didn't even notice but I guess the manager felt like the food took too long so they comped our entire meal. The service was always attentive anyway and we got drinks in between. Highly recommend. They have high standards for service and honor that.“
