"I want to give a special shoutout to the server who was a old lady there for making our dining experience truly memorable. Their attentiveness and friendly behavior enhanced our meal and made us feel valued guests. We really loved dining at matagali restaurant from the moment we arrived until we left , everything was very well handled. I'm already planning forward to my next visit.
We ordered takeout using their website and were pleased with the quality of the food—pad Thai with prawns, butter chicken, samosas, and a Thai salad. A bit of the lettuce mix in the salad was subpar and the samosas were very average, but the pad Thai and butter chicken were excellent.Their online ordering system is quirky—adding rice or naan to the butter chicken cost $7/item, but side orders of both were available for $3-4. WARNING - TAKES NEARLY AN HOUR FOR THE FOOD TO COME OUT but the food is nice.The restaurant feels like it is owned by an immigrant family who do what they do to survive.Portion size is the average relative to other restaurants, and seems fresh.
